That hit hard I'm literally on the fence right now about changing jobs. Comfort is a killer right now

The biggest sign for me is when you wake up and you just have that "ugh" feeling. You don't necessarily dread going to work, you're just sick of the doing same thing with the same people over and over. I have changed jobs simply due being sick of the place and the money was secondary (though the big boost is still appreciated).

This hits home for me. I started a job at the beginning of September because I was furloughed at my previous job. After working a few weeks I knew the company wasn't a good fit for several reasons. I like my career so I interviewed elsewhere for the same position and they offered me the job. I put in my two weeks and two days later they offered me a substantial raise to stay. Even though the money would have been great I wasn't happy there so I spoke to the company I am going to and they gave me a little bump in starting pay and day one benefits. I know in the long run I will be happier there.

You can't know how helpful this was for me. I felt like you were speaking directly to my head and my heart.

I’m so so glad our philosophy about what’s important aligns. I can trust your opinions and advice even more now! Happiness really is the most important thing, Aristotle figured it out thousands of years ago

Andy, gotta say a big heartfelt thanks. Just got my first six figures offer for a great position in senior management....honestly, lots of gratitude to you and huge respect. Your material is absolutely the best one can find, and I am very lucky I did found you. Your material perfectly predicted every stage of the process and help me to prepare way beyond I could have without you. Thanks

I have no criminal record and I'm drug free. I separated from my last employer with about 9 months. I've been rejected by hiring systems repeatedly the last several days. Yes, it is an employers market now. I'll attempt to work 2 part time jobs. Moving in with family too.

Good for you taking on this topic. It is a TOUGH ONE to cover for sure. I hit on this on a video early on in march and it is STILL a difficult topic with no answer that fits all. I am in the hospitality industry where the pandemic has wrecked us more than all other industries. Keep up the good work Andrew.

That’s my problem, I can’t deal with my coworkers and management anymore so it’s time for a change

I have gotten 5 job offers in the last 3 months and I knew it was time to leave before I even started!! LOL I ended up declining the offers because as soon as they knew they "had me" they started showing their true colors and I saw a lot of shady stuff, and the way they treated me changed abruptly... so that raised a lot of red flags and I simply walked away after having accepted some offers.

Hello Andrew, I just finished reading " out of reach, but in sight ". I received this book as a gift from a special friend. I want to thank you for writing this book and sharing your thoughts. Absolutely love it and all the things said in the book make sense. I am going to start practicing them and keep referring to them from time to time. Also subscribed to you!

This is really helpful. Just as I was about to leave my crappy apartment I got an offer to move abroad for work, so I decided to stay. But a year has passed and the date gets pushed back further and further. And I'm now at the point where I'm considering leaving, but my manager is still promising we're almost there. I feel like I've been kept on a leash, but at the same time if I leave I feel like my employer might feel betrayed that I've been all in for the past year and suddenly when we're close I back out.

Does it necessarily mean you have to go from job to job what about from job to a business. I love your video!! I have already started making career changes. This video has helped me to continue to move forward. Thank you kindly for your encouragement.

Hi I am a teacher in a new school where I started to shine because I was happier then people around me...but some other teachers are starting to tease me and also they were checking my capabilities to work under pressure well that I can do....but the atmosphere around me started to impact my day...so sometimes I feel sad and it is the opposite of what I want...how can I deal with this ? Particularly now because it is becoming hard to get a job

Underpaid for my skills. I can deal with that to a point. The problem comes when they keep adding more to my workload. They know I can do it because of my work ethic and skillset.
They squeeze more and more out of me for the same pay.
Told when I was hired they were hiring another electrician to help me. Been 2 years and it hasn't happened. Not gonna happen either.
Everything I do saves them money so my bosses look like superstars to their bosses.
Being taken advantage of.

Nobody ever said to me that I should be happy about what I do. I chose my occupation - as I interprenet it - when my parents cleverly manipulated me to choose architecture. They had planned that I study architecture, work in my father‘s architect office, marry an architect, live in their neighbour, etc.
There was one person who asked me:“ Do you like your job?“ It was my grandmother. She propably saw how depressed I was. Nobody else cared, and I struggled to get out from the trap. Finally I struggled so much that I sold ny apartment, quit my job and moved abroad, to Berlin, to finally start my things (graphic designing). What happened? I constantly meet people whobare pushing ke to work to architect offices. They are doing a lot here, they need workers.

Nobody, ever, has said that I should be happy about my job, or content about it. Every single person seem to shut their ears when I say: „I do not want to be an architect.“ They look at me snd say:“Here is a list of architect offices... apply here...“ Or: „I need a renovation plan...“ or: „I inherited a house and it needs an architect...“
Of course, these jobs I should do half-free. Or totally free.

My career choise and trying to change it has been so painful that it makes me cry.
