Appreciate this ken, you have no idea. Just this week my boss laid off my coworker and gave me a month to find a new job because he said he doesn’t like how I work. I love my job I love what I do and in a way im glad im getting laid off because the environment was so toxic. Bad management, he’s always late and his son hardly shows up to work. Boss always wants to find a small error to chew me out even when it wasn’t my fault. Kept telling me im retarded im an F**** s*** head and all sorts of vulgarity. But thanks to this show and your colleagues I thank you because i feel relaxed knowing I can do more somewhere else.

Great advice. A lot of videos about leaving a job only talk about if the job is objectively negative (e.g. bad boss, bad coworkers, etc). Not many talk about what to do if the job was once perfect but you have now outgrown it and are "hitting the lid".

I have only been in my job 3 months and I hate it. Left a toxic company that I had worked at for 6 years thinking this new role would be perfect but it’s been really tough people are nice and it’s laid back but the job itself is tough and I absolutely hate it

What about the needed category of legitimate Medical Condition, (Medically Diagnosed) -- Needs to be added to your list.

The reason they are avoiding school could be because they are being bullied or tormented as I was. Nobody did anything. I don’t necessarily think I’m better than they are because I went to school. And how “wuss” to not read the comments.

I appreciate every video and you helping the sheep and your time and heart and passion you give us . Wondering if you can cover a topic only if lead by Holy Spirit how to deal with difficult parents of patients when u try your hardest and still they r not happy . It’s lately happening more and more I am a RN for almost 17 years and feel discouraged . Had a event just yesterday and I self examined myself I tried my best they Where difficult nothing made it ok. The patient John Do was not at risk of any distress . So wondering how do we handle people that nothing makes it ok they just want to make your time with them hell

Wow this was interesting to watch. So UK university bachelor degrees are more expensive than USA ones. In the UK it's £9k per year for 3 year so £27k for living and accommodation costs.

You're not quitting being a working, productive human being. You're moving on from an employer or job/career. It's not the middle of a bball game you're getting blown out in. It's ideal. We have one shot at life.

School Avoidance is legit. The public school experiment for the last 150 years has failed. If the child refuses public school, maybe it's because they see something the parents are ignorant of. Sounds like some homeschooling might be helpful. 🤔

School avoidance (whether a "condition" or not) is a reality for educators. Students act out to avoid work at school. It is ridiculous.

Is anyone listening to this in a better place now? I’m losing hope in knowing there’s a non-toxic environment for me out there to work in.

They also won’t let me move up so I didn’t even give them 2 weeks and I quit yesterday

I quit because I’ve had 3 bosses in less than 2 years and the job gets worse not better

Please STOP telling people to blindly go into tech. This is not necessarily a good idea. I listened to this conventional advice and am completely miserable. It is my responsibility, of course, to change this. But DO NOT ASSUME that all tech jobs are good and/or that they pay well. I am paid very well but am stretched thin, overworked, and under constant pressure. People, the grass is not always greener. I also question the legitimacy of much of the advice on this YouTube channel. It seems that it's completely driven by sponsors. There is potentially an agenda here that I do not trust. It is also completely wrong to assume that a bootcamp will prepare you for a job that pays well. It is experience here that matters to hiring managers.

Not a difficult answer. Unless you are independently wealthy, or at least have a source for free food and shelter, or have another job lined up, no, you should not quit your job!
