I stopped drinking coffee for 6 months and I talk about my personal experience of quitting caffeine. Here's what happened. I'm not here to say caffeine is bad, I'm here to show that for some people it might be better not to drink coffee and take caffeine. We need to ask ourselves if we have a healthy relationship with the substances we are using.

Once I quit for 9 months, completely. I felt great, till the day I restarted again. Never restart, its much worse once you have a period where you quit and then return.

I feel so much better, quitting caffeine. Into week 3, better quality sleep, calm clear mind etc etc. From Sydney. ; )

I just quit cold turkey. Its a more frightening thought than actual practice. You guys are all capable, get it done!

5th day no coffee. No headaches no nothing but I do feel less energy at the moment.

I found a good way to taper off coffee was tea.

it's just so hard to wake up in the morning. my sleep is always terrible, even if I try to go to bed at 11pm, i dont' fall asleep til 12-1 then wake up at 9 or even weekends i sleep in but my body just wakes me up automatically at 8 and i can't fall back asleep. it sucks. so to wake up in the morning i haev one cup. No more coffee throughout the day. Just to wake me up. If I could just fix my sleep I could get rid of coffee but I'm always tired in the morning. it sucks. and I had the problem even before coffee in case anyone is wondering "well you have been drinking the coffee so it ruined your sleep and you're in a vicious cycle".
