The biggest thing I’ve noticed since quitting coffee 15 days ago is that my sleep is exquisite. I often wake up hours before sunrise ready to go on a run 👌 I also fall asleep earlier and quicker.

I had a pretty intense anxiety episode one day and decided I needed to make changes. Just celebrated 1 year of no caffeine and feeling much better!

Caffeine is a drug. I’m an addict in recovery and it interferes with my process ( program). Today I’m caffeine free and enjoying freedom from active addiction.

I’m 36, and zero caffeine has made huge difference for me. No racing heartbeats, my breathing is better, less anxiety and better sleep.

4 years for me too. I was heavily addicted and drank 1000mg a day. My sleep was terrible, my anxiety was super high, as was my blood pressure. I decided to give it up to see if it was responsible and in my case, it was. It was crazy difficult for me to give up, withdrawals lasted months for me. But once I came out the other side, I had no more sleep issues, and much less anxiety. Never going back to that nasty drug that is sadly normalized in corporate culture.

I recently switched to decaf and life is soooo much better and smoother. I was one of those people who thought I could never give up the caffeine!

I'm really happy to find others who have quit caffeine too! I've been off of the stuff for 4 years now & I totally notice a difference in my anxiety.

I have anxiety.. 3 days of sleep off caffeine feels like 8 months sleep full of rest.
My deep sleep have increased and I no longer needed caffeine to function for my everyday taks. For some reason, I remember and learn things 3x faster after a month without it, best decision of my life❤

Thanks for the video. I'm on day 5 with no caffeine. Headaches are gone for the most part! I hear that after day 10, most people are really home free! I'm halfway there please wish me luck!

6 weeks clean from caffeine now. I love the feeling of not feeling dependent on it, and feel much better in the morning now. Very little anxiety now, and the undercurrent anxiety you mentioned (which I also felt) it totally gone. It totally worth taking a long break from caffeine to see how much better you can feel. Prioritizing sleep is earier and very important too.

The bizarre thing I discovered after I quit coffee was how little sleep I need. 6 hours is plenty and I am not tired during the day.

Caffeine has been the #1 trigger of my social anxiety. Im actually angry when i think about all the wonderful people and situations ive avoided because of how bad my anxiety had gotten. Never did i ever link it to my caffeine consumption. Ive been a coffee and energy drink drinker for almost a decade and its ruined my life. I quit coffee five days ago and literally feel like a completely different person. Practically no anxiety, more energy and a much better quality of sleep. I actually enjoy being around people now. Ive been laughing and joking more. My caffeine addiction made me borderline antisocial. I've also noticed that when i wake up i dont feel groggy and irritable. I actually wake up feeling refreshed and energized. Its amazing. Luckily the only withdrawal I experienced was binge eating for a few days.

I did something similar. Because everyone has become so crazy. I gave up on friends about 5 years ago and my life is so much more simple now. I'm not getting used anymore, or lied to, being taken advantage of. I have invested in myself and my happiness has returned. Great video

i quit caffeine for about 6 months earlier this year, previously i had anxiety, delusions and psychotic episodes or psychosis as i believe the medical world call it, after doing research and listening to my body, i figured i had a severe magnesium deficiency plus excess caffeine consumption, the magnesium worked wonders, got rid of my brain fog and helped with the delusions, about 3 months ago i got hooked again but im on day 5 cold turkey now, im not going back, anyone dealing with mental health issues, anxiety, depression, brain fog etc get a magnesium supplement, there really cheap and just take it daily, i hear caffeine makes us dump more water and electrolytes/magnesium causing these issues.

I've watched a lot of videos on quitting caffeine and I think yours is the best - thank you! For those of us that were heavy caffeine users, it is a much longer road to recovery. I was drinking the equivalent of probably 8 cups of coffee a day (part of it was tea and sometimes caffeine pills). I only took two days to taper off to zero and I didn't get any of the headaches or traumatic withdrawal symptoms some people talk about. I quit over three weeks ago and I feel like my energy is gradually coming back. I especially notice it in the evenings, when I used to be just brain dead, and now I just cruise along at the same energy as I had all day. My energy isn't great but that may have more to do with my depression. I have to agree that the anxiety is just plain gone. I had pretty severe anxiety every day, though perhaps not as bad as many people who have anxiety attacks.

+1 for Rooibos tea. If I need an energy boost now, I drink a glass of vegetable juice (carrot, cucumber, celery and a red pepper). Massive energy boost without the jitters. Also, I am extremely sensitive to caffeine. It not only triggers severe anxiety for me, it also gives me migraines when I have withdrawal overnight. If I want to have a panic attack I just drink two cups in the morning on an empty stomach. That is how sensitive I am to the stuff. I have been on decaf for a couple of years now, best thing I ever did.
