I'm 67, I'm not diabetic or pre-diabetic. I take no medications, and I have no digestive issues. I don't like papaya.
I am going to eat these fruits in moderation as I have always done and if I occasionally decide to binge...I will, because I don't care to live for the mere sake of living. I d like to enjoy my life too.

I'm 70 not on any meds and love grapefruit and grapefruit juices, and fresh pineapples and fresh picked mangoes we grow and papaya. Just saw in another site that papaya was one of 4 fruits for over 60. Also love eating watermelon.

What they suggest to avoid:
1. Grapefruit
2. Cherries
3. Pineapple
4. Pomegranate
5. Mango
6. Papaya
7. Watermelon

We don't avoid any of them and eat in moderation. We are not on drugs or medications. We are very healthy, exercise and take care of ourselves. We DO AVOID "whole grains" and "carbs" that these people recommend. "Whole grains" and "carbs" pile on the weight. "Whole grains" and "carbs" are not as nutritious as they used to be. The nutritional benefits outweigh the negatives such as sugar in fruits and as I mentioned, eat in moderation.

I agree with the grapefruit period.
People have been eating the other fruits that you list for centuries.
Fruit is better than a slice of cake or a donut!
Just keep it in moderation.

All fruits you mentioned are all nutritious so depends upon the people eat all of this friuts moderation. But for my conclusion these are all nutritious to eat specially for all the 50 and seniors too

If you are diabetis then avoid this fruit but if you are not diabetic then enjoy eating in moderation . Eating fruits enjoying a healthy life.
