Hi Gabriel, they should have designated areas where to hold the rainbow gatherings each time to avoid these complicated issues with being on federal land or Indigenous land. I think more people would gather and have an enjoyable time would be had by all.

I encountered them years ago in the Ocala National Forest. They were a bunch of thieves, loud, and all around felt very unsafe. Everyone begging for cigs, drugs, food, etc. It wasn't much fun. We left the following morning to a new spot. Not saying they all are bad, just not for me at all.

I've only ever been to gatherings in Europe. Many many gatherings. They are very different to American ones. However, since I started having kids 7 years ago, we've only been to 2. I think they've changed quite a bit in recent years. Its always interesting to listen to American's talk about their gatherings. Thank you.
