The worst part comes when you realize that the other person feel distracted or bored while talking to you even though it's the same person whom you used to talk to randomly. It hurts to witness them as past tense... little little fun moments, affection, care, limitless phone calls, bickerings, hanging out & the list go on.

My heart broke for both Alyssa and I. The amount of times I’ve heard that ringtone when trying to call my best friend is insane. It’s so bad I hear it in my head whenever I simply read the words of it. I am so sorry Alyssa, and you are so brave for leaving the voicemail. I wouldn’t. I know I just wouldn’t have the voice cords for it. I am not the crying type, but simply thinking about how our friendship has gone bad, and how if I try to reach out to her right now nothing will change makes me want to throw up. I started crying the moment you started talking about her because I recognize every voice crack, every sentence, every emotion you have felt. I feel it every time I remember her.

I just wish things didn’t turn out the way they did.
