Lets Do A Hill Start

Показать описание
How to do a hill start as a learner driver on driving lessons can be scary. You worry about rolling back on your driving lesson or stalling and rolling back. Understanding what causes the car to roll back on your driving lesson will help you to complete the hill start correctly.
So to move off on a hill start will need a couple of things for you to do. Firstly when you are ready to drive off, increase the gas pedal from 1100rpm to 1500 to 2000rpm, the extra power is to help the car when moving up the hill. Secondly you would also need more of the biting point on the clutch pedal, so the clutch would need to be a bit higher.
When you completed these two things and your know its clear and safe to drive off on the hill start, then proceed by releasing the handbrake just a little, if the car moves forward continue releasing the handbrake and drive off. If the car starts to roll a little, just lift the handbrake up more and then lift the clutch a bit more. Then carry on with moving off when it's safe to do so again.
