How to use clutch control on a hill at a junction.

Are you a new driver struggling with how to approach uphill junctions in a manual car? Fear no more! In this video, we will guide you through the essential steps to confidently approach a junction on a hill.

Firstly, approaching the junction at a slower speed can make it easier for you to make the necessary adjustments. Secondly, using clutch control to creep forward and go if it's clear or stop if it isn't can make a huge difference. You don't have to stop if it's clear. It's all about mastering the technique and building your confidence.

Hopefully, this video will help if you're taking your driving test soon.

Downshift and rev match. Driving never becomes more fun, easier and smoother

That's cool if there's no traffic and you are familiar with the road. If you don't, you'll have to gently press the break to observe or even full stop

Wow I love this. It’s nicer watching a person from the Uk show how to drive manual compared to a US person. UK people so manual different

Legends try to do this on 4th gear and end up in hospital.

Look deep into the new road before checking mirrors again. Everybody forgets to tell you this and the instructors want you to check mirrors all the time, but what if a pedestrian is crossing there with camouflage and you're checking all the mirrors

It's fun seeing people go backwards instead of forward while taking off on a steep slope as a Hilly Billy from the Himalayan Highlands we make fun of the tourists, I have seen people burn the clutch of their Toyota Fortuner SUVs because they were tourists and didn't know the accelerator pedal and clutch pedal trick - how to keep the balance between the two and car can stay stationery on a steep gradient without the use of brakes, secondly going dowhill using only gears to control the car and minimising the use of brakes....

Suggestion, swap the positions of the guage cluster and first person cam. The channel name, subscribe button, and other stuff is blocking the view of the guages.

Is it always necessary to go to first gear whenever you slowed down? What if you were on 3rd as you approach the hill junction?

I prefer manual cars than the fuel injector aspirated ECM and sensor controlled vehicles. Best vehicle is a 1960s Willy's Jeep with 3 speed manual gearshift with 4X4 transfer case its strong like an elephant and never disapoints even in the roughest of terrains.

You should make a video with congestion involved. Any kid can climb that empty steep street and make that left turn with no problems.

Our roads really are absolutely stupid. I'd love to see an average American drive a manual on our roads. 🤣🤣

I'm new to clutch guys but from what ik, the moment u release the clutch the car will goes "dead" where u hv to spin the key agn to activate the car, but at the very end I see he release the clutch and he's on gear 1, yet the car still working and even accelerating, or is it depending on the type of car?
