I love how engaged you are with your comments section. People are asking questions 2 years later and your still answering them.

Really struggling with hill starts at the moment. My nerves get the better of me when theres traffic behind. I live in a very hilly town too. Very informative and it's helped me gain some understanding. Thanks

Passed about a month ago on a car with an electric handbrake but I'm now driving a car with a manual one. I came across some roadworks and a digger in the middle of the road on a very steep hill the second time I was out alone and panicked realising I didn't know how to do a hill start in that car. Somehow managed to move off after about 5 attempts and forcing the car behind to reverse twice to avoid me hitting them. The builders were all staring and clapped too which was in good nature but definitely made me more embarrassed. I've been avoiding hill starts at all costs since but this video was so helpful!! Now I can hopefully start to feel more confident and I can avoid similar humiliating situations! Thanks 😄

I live on a hill and this was one question I was pondering...how to control 3 pedals in quick succession with only 2 feet and without losing control of the car....this has perfectly answered my question without me even having to ask it...thank you so much!! :)

I've passed my driving test last year. This video really helped me wrap my head around a hill start. Now, I'm teaching my buddy how to hill start by showing him this video 😂 since explanations were simple, straightforward and methodological.

Passed a week ago, your videos were super helpful! Good luck to anyone going in for your test - felt more like a relaxed drive with a passenger than a test!

This was super helpful! I passed my driving test a month ago and have finally found a suitable car to drive. However, it has a manual handbrake lever, whereas I’ve been driving with a button handbrake for the past six months, and haven’t used a manual lever for almost a year. I was really nervous about it, as all cars in my budget have the lever, but seeing this has jogged my memory, and I hope that with some more practise I’ll be able to drive just as smoothly with the lever. Thank you!

You need your own t.v show my guy, I'm sure there's millions of people out there that are unaware of your content and that's a damn shame

This video is great! I passed my test last week but the car I learned in had an electric handbrake, so I didn’t really know how to do hill starts. Went out in my own car for the first time today and had a nightmare at a set of traffic lights that were on a hill… feel ready to face it again now after watching this though!

Thank you so much for this video. I’m new to manual transmission driving, and was recently renting a car in a very hilly city. Your straightforward demonstration, plus all the descriptive tips about timing and cues really saved me.

Had an absolute nightmare at some red lights today. First hill start, id get away from the lights but I either took foot skightly off gas or too quick off the clutch so was constantly stalling in the worst possible place 😫 Definitely going to be re watching this video for the next week

Your videos helped me to pass my driving test on the first attempt. I learnt more from them than at the driving school. Thanks a lot.

Hi there. This is so useful. Been driving automatics for years but now own a manual and small mistakes are happening when not feeling fully awake. Having other ways to know have got the bite point is so useful. Like the car tilting a bit because was just feeling and hearing it before. I have just been practicing this and feel like have got it now. Thanks so much. Thanks.

I really like this video, so informative and to the point.
Maybe you could make a video about adjusting the mirrors and the car seat before driving? That's the very important topic itself and requires a lot of attention to the details.
Thank you so much for all your work, it's priceless.
