I love the way they talk to the people, like all the "baby"s and "sweethearts" and oh how old are yah, 24, 25? It makes them way more comfortable in the truck to know they have the sweetest workers taking care of them :)

The way he validated the girl with anxiety having a panic attack was so important. SO IMPORTANT. He kept reiterating “don’t hesitate to call us if you need us again”. Do you know how much safer and less small that makes a person with anxiety feel? It’s EVERYTHING. I’ve had nurses laugh at me in ER triage and dismiss me as a drug addict, even though the only drug I did was alcohol. It felt so minimizing and I felt so stupid and embarrassed and hated my brain for attacking me like that. To be validated. To be HEARD. To be treated as a human being who is dealing with something that feels SO REAL in the moment, and to be validated that you’re not crazy and it’s okay…? That. Is. Everything. I love that man.

The first clip was so heartwarming. These paramedics don’t get enough recognition. You can tell they love their job and working with elderly ❤️

These guys make me want to make a special trip to New Orleans just to meet Holly, Titus, Dan, Joe and the rest of them. I'm definitely entertained and love the work they do.

Holly and Keeley as supervisors just makes my heart so happy. <3 These two women that I have never met make me feel so safe and loved through my computer screen.

The simple encouragements of "we are not going to let you fall" and taking the time to let them feel their legs against the stretcher is so calming. So are the sweet touches on the back, shoulder, or arm. It makes such a difference to us older folks. :)

CONGRATS to the lady who had 92 days sober from alcohol! I’m 36 days in and i just think it’s important to recognize her sobriety because that is MONUMENTAL. You got this mama just one day at a time 🤟🏽

I wish the EMT's where I live were like Holly, Titus, Dan and Joe. It would be a lot less scary and would be comforting to be treated like these patients are. I LOVE this show!

I love how people in Louisiana, especially New Orleans, call everyone mama, baby, love, darlin’, it’s so cute lol. I feel like it’s the only state where it sounds normal. Like you couldn’t do that in California or New York it would just sound so unnatural lol

Aw! They are so kind to that lady calling her "sweetheart" and "baby". Really putting her at ease. 🥰🥰🥰

I have panic attacks and I've called EMS once, the firefighters were so professional and helped me calm down enough that I didn't need to the hospital. I am so grateful for these EMS folks with compassion.

Titus is one of my favourite people on this show, he just gives off this like sense of comfort where it just feels safe to be around him.

The validation they gave that girl for her anxiety made me feel so much less embarrassed for calling myself a paramedic for having a panic attack. If anyone reads this, if you are having a panic attack make yourself feel another sensation on your body, rub your leg, pinch your arm, apply ice. As long as the sensation and action is safe, do it and focus on what you are feeling, describe to yourself what you are feeling. Play with rice, slime, you need to take your mind off the sensation in your chest. You also need to accept what you are feeling, you need to accept that your heart is racing and it has happened before, you have to accept you are scared and that it is okay. The biggest thing is your senses. Make sure you focus on your touch and smell. I promise you it will help you. You will not die and you are not the only one who feels these symptoms of anxiety.

I absolutely love the way they treat the patients. Everyone is "baby" "love" & "sweetheart" -- that would be unthinkable here in Germany 😂

Nevertheless, they are also awesome here!!
