I love how all the paramedics call their patients "honey" "sugar" "sweetheart". It's so sweet and comforting.

As someone training to be a paramedic.. this show shows me the real importance of not just showing medical support for my patients but also emotional..💔

The first clip hit me really hard. As someone with bipolar disorder, I feel this guy's pain. His deceased daughter's birthday, it's no wonder he was drinking. Stay clean, and stay on your meds, I'm rooting for you buddy. I lost my pops a few years ago, enjoy him while he's here.

I had a friend who had a miscarriage, she said it was the most traumatic thing in her life.
I feel for that poor woman. Fortunately my friend now has a happy and healthy 5 month old girl :)

6:40 so much credit to the pregnant female EMT being compassionate enough to try to keep this poor mother from seeing that she's visibly pregnant herself. Thank you for your understanding and professionalism. I have no doubt it meant so much to her. Especially saying she didn't have any family to call.

A broken father crying is heartbreaking and it just hits you differently. May be because we don't see it often 😭

vet, fighting addictions, fighting ptsd, bi-polar disorder, I genuinely hope he's doing alright, no human should go through this kind of pain

The first guy, my heart goes out to him. While he was in the military serving hia country, Noone was there to protect his child.
The sadness, guilt and suffering he's going through along with PTSD from the time in the military.
Hope you get the support and the help you need.

I lost 2 babies, both early into pregnancy. It still, to this day hurts to talk about. Just a few months after my last loss, I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant. We weren't trying for this one. The first test I took showed positive immediately; I knew I'm very much with child. I told my husband and we both stood there in shock and fear. I walked away and hopped in the shower because I didn't know how to feel. Should I be happy? Should I be scared? Should I feel guilty? My husband joined me in the shower and we both cried. We were so conflicted with emotions at this time. I took 2 more tests to make sure and waited a couple of days before calling my dr. I now have a beautiful 1.5 year little boy. He has a large white hair birth mark on one side of his head and I tell him that it's a kiss from his brother and sister. Every night, I kiss his forehead and then give 2 kisses on the white hair. My husband is so scared that one day, his white hair will fade to brown, and in all honesty, I'm afraid of it too. We've always seen it as an angel kiss from his siblings.

6:40 what a thoughtful woman. The fact she didn't want the lady to see her with a baby bump after she had just had a miscarriage. Mad respect. 🫡
