"These guys just tried to r4pe me, can i do anything about that ?" The fact that this is a question people have to ask broo it makes me sick. The pain in his eyes had my heart aching

I liked how the paramedic said:"physically he will be ok." he is aware of the difference and that's what most people are not willing to understand.

He was violently assaulted by guys he knew, then defended and saved by homeless strangers. I’ve often found throughout life that people who have the least are most willing to help someone else in need.

Seeing someone fight so hard to not cry after being attacked when they definitely have a reason to cry makes me cry

I was drugged and raped twice. The first time I buried my emotions, pretended it didnt happen, and went down a self destructive path for five years. The 2nd time it happened I instantly felt that same urge to do nothing, but my best friend convinced me to file a police report. The police did absolutely nothing, but the simple act of filing that report made it all so real again and allowed me to process the emotions properly. Its SO important to talk about these things and not bottle them up.

My heart goes out to him. Our society shames and mocks male victims, so it's not shocking that he is so anxious

I’m glad that lil mama was out there to help this young man. She’s a hero. God bless them all.

I teared up when they went back to Lil Mama and told her what she did to save that young man’s life. She is an angel.

He’s devestated. His faith in humanity was destroyed more than his body.

To all male SA survivors, you are valid. And I, and all other decent human beings, empathize with you, I’m a survivor myself. You are just as valid and your story matters just as much as a woman’s SA story. Don’t let anyone tell you differently. And know it’s ok to cry. That doesn’t make you weak, in fact crying has been shown to help you heal because it’s cathartic, it helps you purge all those negative thoughts. Do not be ashamed, you didn’t ask for any of this to happen. Your feelings are perfectly normal in response to trauma

He said, "I know these guys". Very sad.
I hope those three men realize that karma doesn't let anything slip by.
They will get theirs one day, and they will be sorry.

I hope that young man is ok. And hoping he was able to get the help he needs. He’s definitely traumatized, and will be for a while.

The dude….was devastated….his eyes were teared up. It’s true society makes it shameful that men are raped. I’m sorry this happened to u man. I hope your life is going well.

I said no to this guy who was the bartender in a bar that I used to attend. One night after only one glass of wine my head fell down onto the bar and he came around and said he would help me to my car. I did not really know what was happening, I sort of woke up in the back of his van with him on top of me. I couldn’t move I couldn’t talk. It was horrendous I was paralyzed. I remember bits and pieces. In the morning I woke up in that van and he was still there. I gathered my stuff together and got out. Thank God with my life. I was stupid and really didn’t know what to do about it or how to handle the situation so he never did get prosecuted. I’m an older senior woman now and I really wish I had called the police. I don’t know if they would’ve done anything back in those days. Today, I think they certainly would. But I can relate to this young man. Wish I could give him a hug.

I applaud this young man for being brave, fighting off his embarrassment and getting the help he needs. Kudos to you! Your courage proves you can get through this.

I am very familiar with the look on his face. I hope he gets the help he needs to recover from this. Man or woman, things like this should NEVER happen because someone says "no".

I really feel for him 😢 My 11 years old son got “jumped” by several boys today at school. They also touched inappropriately. I could see the same kind of trauma I’m seeng in this young man’s eyes. This molesters / bullies need to be arrested and jailed. We need to have a 0 tolerance with them and force them to take accountability for their crimes.
