Tyler has a whole lot of sense. He talks very clear and well. He said exactly what he felt.

"they all hate me." that made me cry right away... im disabled and i had to come to terms that my family actually isnt healthy for me, but this guy has a lower level of intellect and still came to that conclusion... and ran away... i want to find him and give him a big hug. feel like i know exactly how he feels... i dont TRY to be a burden, but i know i am. poor guy must know he's a burden and just cant help it.

"they all hate me" I almost started crying just then. Like I could laterally feel tears just welling up into my eyes. I hope he's doing well now.

The officer said "That's a good little family right there. We have to check on them to make sure they're okay." Those are words from a real man and an amazing police officer. Absolutely admirable.

"I just had to take a break" - that almost broke me. It must be so difficult and frustrating for people like him, especially when he feels like taking a break - which we all need to do at some points, and seeing others go on to do things that he might not be able to do. To "protect and serve" is the utmost responsibility for police, and sometimes that means nothing to do with combating crime.

Poor guy. Everytime you think you have it bad, you see somebody in worse shape, really humbles you. I hope hes doing well.

This right here is how you treat someone with a disability. You don't immediately put them in handcuffs or talk down to them or treat them like a criminal when they've done nothing wrong. You speak to them like a human being and with respect the same way that you would want someone to speak to you. Respect to these fine officers who knew how to handle this entire situation. I applaud and thank you.

These officers went above and beyond. Reassuring him that he wasn’t in trouble and telling him his family was worried about him. Glad the officers returned to check on him. Grateful his was safe. Thanks to these caring officers. Bless this family.

I couldn’t hold back tears the fact that the family even opened the door to let the cops back in to check on him was heartfelt all cops aren’t bad and they said it in the documentary I’m glad he was found
