I follow a boxer style workout routine to stay in shape. I wake up run 6 miles fasted in the morning, I then go about my day and weight train/box train at night. Keeps me in shape, especially after losing over 160lbs.

Mad props mate to both you and your wife. Getting motivated to adopt a healthier lifestyle is not easy; especially, if your partner is not on board. It’s great you both did it together. 😊

Hi Tony, I started getting into shape a few years ago - I weighed nearly 18st. I started a 4-day routine, 12-rounds shadow boxing, with 100 press-ups, pull-ups, air squats for Mondays and Thursdays; 5k run on Tuesdays and Fridays. Wednesday was a rest day. Started eating better - stopped the drink (probably the most important dietry thing you can do), and have lost 3st. I'm 50 next year, and feeling good. Still got a bit to go to try and get rid of the excess belly fat, but I'm getting there slowly. Thanks for the great vid, man. Keep up the good work!

I'll tell you what. I have been in this cycle of wanting to improve myself, my mood, and my physical health for years. From today on, I'm going to follow this advice for three months straight. No messing around and really committing myself to new habits. Let's see where I get.

Your passion is contagious! I've been boxing for about 18 months now and I've been watching your videos for the last few weeks and I feel reinvigorated for my own training again. Actually started boxing 3 times a week last week. I've been loosing weight steadily. From 102.5 to 92.5 in that time. For me it's slow and steady wins the race! Of course changing my diet as well, but not drastically, I still drink beer and eat snacks but less then I used to. I'm going to Japan at the end of the year (in 5 months), going to try and hit 87.5 around then!

I'm on zero pharma, eat healthy, and train 5 days a week, feel like I'm 30.🙂👊

I boxed as a kid, for about 4 year's. Now 61, have started boxing routine at home in the shed. 10x1min skipping then 8x1 min bag work. Feeling 100%. Boxing training is the best. And diet is also so important. Agree totally with your conversation.
Keep up the great work ❤

Mate, I did EXACTLY the same thing! I bought an Oculus last year when I was 243lb and got down to 192lb in 11 weeks. I reversed the diabetes diagnosis I got in the march, lost all the weight and felt fan fkn tastic. Thrill of the fight was my usual go to on the quest. It's a really good workout. Well done mucker

I've recently plateaued after 20 lbs and have been frustrated with it. I'll take your advice to heart to regain that momentum, thanks Tony!
Great advice especially with sleep. Even God rested after a week!

Great advice. Being 50 I had to go a little farther and add intermittent fasting to make up for the slower metabolism. I only eat breakfast on the weekends, and work days I skip both breakfast and lunch. It wasn't so hard after the first week. It's worked very well for me.

Mindset and movement could not have been a better start to this video! I’m slowly losing weight, but I got set back by Covid and other things, and the number one thing I look forward to getting back into is martial arts. I really love how much you focus on picking up healthy habits that aren’t torturous, they are uplifting and make your brain feel great! Great video for me to get excited about recovering and have a smile about it all! I would love to follow your app, as well! Cheers from Texas, man! Also, tomorrow is my 1.5 years of sobriety! Great to have a sober influence in my life to keep me motivated and remind me the value of that daily choice!

Your spot on with reading stories before going to bed. If found reading books before going to bed gets a much deeper sleep. I dont feel depressed the next day
. Just energised and refreshed. However if I'm on my phone before sleep. The sleep and wake up next day is a slog. No energy or motivation.

Best non bullshit health advice I've seen just about anywhere. There's alot I could say about my own health issues over my near 7 decades of life, but the only thing I'll add is for everyone who is WAY out of shape is just start moving. Little by little do a bit more everyday. A short walk can work wonders for EVERYTHING. If one can't walk, an exercise bike to start. Or just simple reaching, bending, torso movement for 15 minutes per day to start and build on that. But diet is KEY. More important than anything. Drop the junk, white flour products and start moving. Even just getting in a pool and walking through the water or doing basic movement is very good. And ALWAYS check with your doctor to be sure if it's safe to start exercising. I'm a heart patient but I can still kick it in the ass during my exercise routines. Calisthenics, light weights boxing drills, stretching, 150 sit ups, 60 push ups in 4 sets of 15, that kind of thing.
Anyway, thanks for the advice, "mate". Really great you care about all of us out here in YouTube land. 🙏👍

You was a great boxer, now you’re great entertainer, a great speaker, a great boxing teacher, and your “hooligan” accent makes me crazy! Thank you Tony, hugs from Italy 🇮🇹!

Great video! After my first son I gained 30 lbs, walking 5-10 mins at first is all my body could handle. Then every week I would add 10 mins. I did this until I could do the stair master. Same things. Easy 5 mins at first. Now I’m doing interval training for 20 mins on the stair master almost every other day. It’s all about being calculated with your body and easing into it so your body adapts slowly, people under estimate the power of walks for health and mental health, getting the blood flowing creates so much goodness.

I lost weight the same way, i even used boxing games on vr. I drank 1 gal of water a day. To get rid of love handles without drinking 3.5-4L of water a day this achievement would be an impossibility. I follow your stuff man and I love how you modernize how to lose weight. I also box. Your content is always appreciated!
