If you're so sore that you're limping around, rest that muscle group or you will deeefinitely get an injury sooner than later.
Listen to your body. Being a little sore the day after a good workout is normal, but being almost unable to move is a sign to rest.

I can’t even walk down the stairs or sit on the toilet without going ‘ow, ow, ow, ow, ow’ on the way down and up. Had to crawl up the stairs sometimes. 😣😭😫😆

Do your cardio man, i didn't do cardio for a long time, but when i started implementing it, dude, changed my mood completly

As a former pitcher I can tell you nothing helps with soreness more than long distance running… I know nobody wants to hear that but after every game I pitched I would run 3 miles the day after and it always helped me recover just in time for my next start. Did this all through high school and college

That is why you got squat Mondays upper body Wednesdays, and deadlift fridays.

Going really light and not to failure on what I would typically be doing on that particular day always worked well for me.

My advice is try incorporating yoga after workouts.

It helps optimize muscle relief and increase flexibility. I usually do it before bed and it helps a lot.

3rd day of working out.. 1st arms. 2nd legs.. today cardio.. my legs were ok during the cardio but dannngg they hurt rn 😂 been doordashing all day and getting in and out the car is hell 💀.

What’s awesome is God designed our bodies to repair themselves, so when we tare our muscles for growth, they repair and grow rather than stay damaged. The complexity of the body and nature just goes to show God is truly all knowing and all powerful just as the Bible says.

At one point I was so sore I nearly couldn't walk in stairs, it was so painful. The soreness lasted a week : / To be fair I had not been working out in forever and suddenly did an intense training session, so that's probably why. These days I don't get that sore.

Fuck dude this is me right now it’s almost 3am can’t sleep my fucking chest and arms are hurting so bad been 3 days now but I went super hard after not lifting for years

Simple answer is no.. It's called getting rest so your body can recover & grow.

The answer is active recovery.

You can go to the gym and lift but lift about 60-70% of your normal load.
