Vegetation causes me joint pain and digestive issues. Grains, seeds, nuts, legumes contain phytic acid which block absorption of nutrients, if soaked at least overnight or fermented it reduces the acid. Fruits and vegetables are hybridized to be bigger and sweeter than originals and most originals aren't palatable to humans.

He didn’t mention the Eskimo diet, where you can’t grow vegetables! What about blubber ingredients? Classic example of going to doctors that haven’t kept up with research, and relying on 50 year old teaching! He definitely isn’t stupid, but you can still be ignorant of what is happening in your field! His ignorance can kill you, just as dead, as your ignorance! He is the kind of doctor, my wife agrees with, but she is not researching the information available for all of us!

"Eating the rainbow" is also a gimmick, and one that leads to oxalate overload from vegetables and insulin overload from fruit. I'm sticking to my monochromatic meat. 🥩

(11:15) The Dr. says that the antioxidants in fruits and vegetables protect the nitric oxide-producing amino acid, and that is why it is important to consume fruits and vegetables with protein, because he does not know any other way by which the nitric oxide-producing amino acid could be protected — but, what about the fact that our own endogenous antioxidant, glutathione, is itself made from the protein which we eat; so theoretically, the glutathione-producing amino acids (glycine, cysteine, and glutamic acid), may well protect the nitric oxide-producing amino acid (arginine).

Otherwise, those on a strict carnivore diet, devoid of fruits and vegetables, would be suffering from the detrimental effects of a lack of nitric oxide; but contrarily, most on the carnivore diet seem to be thriving.

Unfortunately this guy was correct 50 -100 years ago, when the soil itself had nitrates added so the food picked them up from the soil, modern farming is profit based, they will not pay for the refertilizing of the soil, the same for so called organic vegetables unless you grow them yourself with natural fertiliser or cow manure or chicken poo you are wasting your time, people living in large urban centres are being conned by huge supermarket chains, that is why we have people supplementing now because some people have had blood work done and they are very low in key minerals like iodine zinc magnesium potassium iron etc.

I agree with him but he's contradicting everything the toxic super food writer says, like to eat spinach, as spinach she said is bad for us because it's high in oscaletes, I believe there's some truth in this so I only eat cooked spinach. And she also says berries and buckwheat is bad for us which is pretty unbelievable really so I trust this guy much more

What research is he getting this from, and when was the date of the data? Not any red meat minerals, and vitamins discussed! What do you eat, when you have T2D? Not the same diet as a healthy human.

In other words, all the knowledge that we’ve known for a long time except saturated meat is bad because he doesn’t know how to research any new studies thats been done on it for 15 years. He mentions how bad meat is but nothing on sugar, shameful!
