The liver detoxifies in two stages, phase one and phase two. Curcumine in turmeric for instance lowers phase 1 and accelerate phase 2. Cloves lowers phase 1, artichoke accelerates phase 1. A lot of medication accelerates phase 1, which can become a problem if phase 2 doesn't work properly.
Methylation and gluthatione are also very important parts of the liver's detoxification. Different foods, herbs/spices and supplements can impact these systems, for instance beetroot enhances methylation, aswell as B12, folate and B6 in active forms.

It is all about biochemistry. Food and herbs/spices contain different chemicals, nutrients and phytonutrients that interact with the body's biochemistry. The trick is to know how one's own liver works in order to get it right. I for instance have a too fast phase 1 and a too slow phase 2, and I lack the gene responsible for making glutathione in the liver. This has caused serious illness on my part, but by supporting my liver in the way it needed, I'm today much healthier. But I must avoid anything that accelerates phase 1 in the liver.

Milk thistle is very regenerative for the liver by enhancing important enzyme systems, aswell as gluthatione. Also dandelion has a good effect on the liver. Use it only for shorter periods of time, preferably with help from someone knowledgeable in this field.

Try things one at a time. If it makes you feel bad, avoid it. If it has a noticable good effect, well then it is worth looking into.

Would you mind putting together details on healthy makeup, you always look pretty, finished off professionally yet natural. How you make your makeup look so flawless would be excellent too. 🌿

I am so happy with this video! I just blended up a load of things to have with yoghurt for my breakfast. That included lemon, kale and turmeric. I topped it with a couple of walnuts. But earlier in the day I started with a mug of green tea.

Then I watched this video.

I did forget to grind a little black pepper in, but I'm pretty happy with this as a start.

Do I get a prize for a full house?
