Today, I will cover the absolute best foods to lose weight. These foods support weight loss because they have the least effect on insulin. 

Insulin, even in tiny amounts, will block weight loss. Insulin is a hormone that converts the carbs you eat into fat—it's the fat-making hormone. The foods on this list will barely trigger insulin. 

Just be sure to have a moderate amount of protein (7g-8g per meal). If you want to lose weight fast, only consume two meals a day or even one meal a day. 

It's important to keep in mind that pure fat doesn't affect insulin, and the only carbohydrate that does not trigger insulin is fiber.

Correction: I said, protein should be 7-8 grams per meal....well, that's barely any protein. The correction is 7-8 ounces of protein per meal unless you are a smaller person, which could be 3-6 ounces.

I caught covid a month ago and had moderate to severe symptoms. Was not hospitalized, but i did have a hard time recovering. It also felt like my liver was inflammed. I started doing keto and IF two weeks ago, and even did a 48 hour water fast. I cut out processed foods, took supplements, and started eating more green leafy vegetables. Inflammation, pain, and swelling in my body reduced tremendously, including in my liver. My digestion drastically improved, and stool is more well formed, whereas before it was loose and oily post covid. Increased energy and improved cognitive function were also benefits. Lost 30 pounds as well, though a chunk of that weight was due to loss appetite during my illness with covid. Most of my lingering covid symptoms are finally going away and i truly believe keto/IF helped expedite my healing.

I lost 25lbs without too much effort. Kept it stupid simple😂 Eggs, avocado, nutritional yeast for meal 1.
Meal 2 big portion of salmon or beef with leafy greens topped with avocado oil.
Did this for a few months and the weight just dropped off.🤓😂
Didn't even exercise much, honestly it's the easiest lifestyle!

I followed an intermittent fasting and keto diet for about 2 months prior to my annual physical. My results were astonishing! Both my husband and I have lost 50lbs since following Dr. Berg’s advice. He has solved numerous problems for us. I no longer have red, oily skin. By horrible foot pain has gone away. I lost one hundred pounds and have kept it off for over two years with IF and extended fasting, along with a keto whole foods diet. I haven't been sick in over two years when I had a cold probably. My daughter says I look younger each year...I don't know about that, but I feel younger and I'm looking at sixty. Took your advice some 4 months ago! Cut all the carbs apart from a few beers on an afternoon! Not too much! I exercise daily and it is hot here in Thailand. I have lost nearly 9 kilo's and I feel great! I drink home made 'Lemon water' every morning and I eat carefully only after 12 noon. No, potatoes, rice, bread, pasta, French fries, ---difficult BUT it can be done! I eat plenty of fresh greens, I make soups and broths from natural foods, no grain. Love avocado's, strawberry's and nuts and NO snacks! This really works!!
