I had total knee replacement 6 years ago it came out of socket twice 2 weeks after I had it done that was the worst pain I ever had in the world I mean it was total nightmarish the screaming in the hollering I did in the emergency room waiting for them to put that back in was horrible then three days later after the first time it happened all over again all I did was get up out of bed and go to use the bathroom and my leg started wobbling and it came right back out again still to this day if I cross my legs in my sleep on accident my hip hurts so bad when I wake up I can barely walk I encourage any person happened to have this done if you can avoid it don't do it you are never the same after doing this

Why would a doctor use posterior hip replacement ? My sister had a replacement in 2019 and had a horrible surgery experience and long recovery. Ended up spending weeks in the hospital. That doctor retired later that year. The following year our 91 year old mother had a hip replacement- different doctor - with anterior approach and was out and walking - with no walker- in no time. Is there any good reason why that doctor would have used the posterior approach ? is that one reason maybe why my sister had such a bad recovery ?
