Change Your Life in 30 Days - Gratitude Challenge

There are scientifically-proven benefits to practicing gratitude every day. Doing this challenge daily for 30 or more days will help you to have higher immunity, lower blood pressure, better quality sleep, become more optimistic, improve your moods, increase your sense of joy and happiness, become more compassionate, feel less isolated and lonely, and increase your positive relationships. If you are a person who has anxiety and / or has a tendency to feel like your negative thoughts are spiraling out of control, this will go a long way towards rewiring your brain to relax and focus on all of the positivity around you. Use this opportunity to sit back and relax or go on a gratitude walk or jog. This exercise is simple. Repeat the words I say to you out loud or in your mind as if they were your own. If you feel resistance towards any phrase in particular, it is especially crucial that you repeat that phrase as if it were already true in your life. As you repeat it each day, be cognisant of what is happening inside of you. Take care to repeat that phrase as often as possible until your negative thoughts surrounding it completely fade away.

I wanted to check in. Partly to keep myself accountable, and partly to share with you, Rachel, how thankful I am for this meditation. I've been doing yoga every evening before bed, and I play this meditation afterward as part of my savasana. It seems like every evening there's a 'thank you' phrase that I didn't notice before, and that is the phrase that I have been needing the most. Last night, it was "thank you for love, " and the night before it was, "thank you that I am safe in this moment, and thank you that I have always been safe." I have noticed how certain phrases have changed my attitude towards situations in my life.

I look forward to this meditation every night, and can't wait to see how much more I get from it at the end of the month.

Wow! I did this an honestly feel so much more grounded. I've never been able to intentionally sit in gratitude for this long, when I journal I get distracted. So having the verbal prompts was helpful. When I was itching for a distraction I could open eyes, see the timer, and get back into it. This was time very well spent, thank you!

Greeti gs from Lithuania! 🇱🇹 I’ve been doing this challange for a month with couple of days break. Sometimes phrases aabout shoes or comfortable bed would hit me & I start crying, but overall it’s great experience to have a look from aside and notice how many things we take for granted, like fresh water, being safe & living in a country without wars. After starting this challange I started to notice the good things in my life and small miracles that happen to me. And sometimes it’s just nice to remember people or situations when saying some particular phrases, and how those moments helped me. It’s December 6th and I’m still continuing! Thank you Rachel & sending love to everyone who’s in this challenge ❤

Hi Rachel, I've looked at something about gratitude so many times. And even though I noticed that in life I can vanish my dissatisfaction that sometimes arises through more gratitude, I asked myself what I can still be thankful for. Your video gives new inspiration and even more ideas come after that once you get into it. I'm excited to see the impact of gratitude in 30 days. I did this meditation this morning in bed, and it went by so quickly! Thank you for putting this together for us, Rachel. I'm so glad you're back and hopefully doing well. 😊I was also happy to see that I inadvertently finished 1/3 of today's workout challenge! Woop woop!
