Excerpt of an article from Lifehack:

Change is really good for your personal development. The reason is that if you only do the same things every day without looking for ways to introduce new techniques in your life, you will also stay the same. That makes it much harder for you to grow in a spiritual, intellectual, and emotional way.

In order to live a better life, you need to start changing your habits, change your attitude towards yourself and the outside people and change your point of view for the world. When you start doing this you will be able to see how little changes in your life help you to grow as an individual and develop mentally and physically.

Who the hell says you can't change your career at 30? Most are just beginning at that age.

I don't believe age is a requirement for anything but we allow ourselves to be sucked into the mindset that it is. I always remind myself that Colonel Sanders started up KFC when he was in his 60s. In fact there are so many people who figured out their career path in their 40s and 50s. It goes to show we all grow and learn and make vital life decisions at different points in our lives. Thank you Jay for reminding us even more.

As someone who is 19 and has made a lot of mistakes in the past I tend to start the change after my finals .... Also DO NOT TAKE THInGS TOO LIGHTLY OR SERIOUSLY just do what you like and dont give in the pressure 😬

As an indian, I can say most of the time we will hear this from indian families and from parents a lot. My father didn't send me or motivated me to go one step further in my dreams. The thing is I was also lazy during my teens. Now in my 20's when I try to discuss my passion, he is saying you should have figured it by now. I am 23 I got a job, now he is asking me to marry. When I asked I want to study further like MBA. He is saying not loose job. I am thinking still like teenager, I am thinking I still have time but my family members are in a hurry. This kind of stuff puts me in a lot of pressure. Don't know why I am thinking like my childhood is over now. I can say having parents who would support their children dream is a blessing. If any parent is reading my comment my request is ask your child what is he interested in, instead of suggesting your career options.

Are you kidding? You can change your career anytime you want. This is my weekly topic for my own subscribers. Career. One thing that can really bring a person into depression is 40 hours a week of hating their job. The job is literally almost half of the waking life. The problem many people have is that they have a craving for security. The person will tolerate being unhappy if that is their normality. People would rather have secure bitterness than the fear of stepping off the cliff. The fact is that you can change your career anytime. At 40 or 50. I once knew a car salesman of 30 years who did really well but started to hate his job--so became a nurse at 57. He is now a travel contractor. His friends told him he would be 57 by the time he got licensed as an RN. He told them he would be 57 anyway. So he will now spend the next ten years doing something he likes instead of something he hates. But you have to decide if it is life on the sea you hate or just that ship you're traveling on. In other words--do you hate your trade or just the company you're at? But whatever you aren't happy with you must change and continue to advance yourself. Hope this helps someone---Charles.

Hii... Jay
I'm 28 and I want to change my career.
I'm an Oral and maxillofacial surgeon, MDS.
Sadly no value for BDS and MDS in India.
And I am interested in doing MBBS .
Now that there's no age limit for NEET, I'm so happy but..
I've started my Neet preparation 😁👍🏽

Im 30 in 2 months. Never had a job due to fear of failure and mental illness. Had thoughts of trying to become a psych np then realized the amount of years for school and feel like its too late for me. Almost 30 and feel like its all wasted and gone away.

In Singapore, the average male finishes University at the age of 25.

Reason being: all able-bodied males are conscripted into military service for 2years.

I was in the military between 19 and 21 years old.

Additionally, in Singapore, we have 4 years of secondary school education that is followed by either a 2year junior college or a 3year polytechnic diploma course. These are the two paths that will lead to a 4-year undergraduate bachelors degree program.

Most guys start their first job after college at the age of 25/26. That’s why being 30 and still undecided in a career isn’t shocking in Singapore.

I am 21...
Starting from school I never had any medal 🏅... I never got first in my class as a teen Ii didn't know where to go what are my passion, my strength... I don't know anything about me...
Always compared and judged myself...
After 20 I failed neet twice.... 💔
Started again.... Don't know what will happen... ❤
My parents never trust on me... Belonging to very poor family and being the first elder daughter...
It hurts me soo much... That I can't even get my family out of this...
I wish for better days❤

I m really scared. Its not easy to be 30, unmarried, unemployed... I feel like a burden... I am ashamed of myself.. I feel like this is the end of my life.. I can't achieve anything more... Very few options.. Society mocking at me n saying me a lot of things... I hv an aim... A goal to achieve... But these thoughts just don't let me rise...

I am 33yrs old Somali women living in Qatar, still unmarried and I feel like I wasted my time on failed online business project & settling to do just PT admin job after gaining BA in Business from university😔I feel like I could be MORE!!I started taking online courses to study data anlyst but that too seems hard+out of place😩I am now taking another course on graphic design and UI/UX. At this point Jay, I m 29, lost my job, after losing my job I learning new skills on Machine Learning & Artificial Neural network, but the job market seems very challenging to switch my career into tech, very difficult to get a job as a fresher & programming is completely new field for me. I seriously need a career mentor, like you.
