I left my job before the holidays, they were shocked. They said how I do great work and I how I was a valuable asset to the team. Well I wasn't supported or valued at all. It wore on me for months. I worked hard and got no recognition. Long story short I start my new job in less than two weeks and I hope it is a better environment like it seems to be.

I quit my job during the corona crisis and I am already making a living of my new business! 😃
I have been held back by fear for YEARS whereas I see now that so much is possible! It is crazy how we stay in situations out of fear when something so much better is waiting for us on the other side! Thank you for making that video!

I left my job earlier this year and changed careers---it was hard to do but it paid off. I'm actually making more money and I have better benefits. My mental and physical health has also improved. It's not worth staying in a job/career that makes you miserable. I had all 5 of those signs. Thank you for the video.

I quit my job of twenty six years on March 11. No notice, I just finally had enough of assistant managers with perpetually brown noses, lying constantly and then lying about their lying. It just felt toxic. I finally feel like I can breathe again, and I know my blood pressure is down fifty points. I'm now registered for some computer tutorials, because I'm pretty tech illiterate, and I'm looking for a Spanish class. I'm also checking into what I need to do to get a medical assistant certification.

At my last job, I used to dread Sundays and I called it the "Sunday blues" because I knew I had to go to work the next day.

It's very difficult when you don't have a support system lined up outside your job, but in a lot of cases you can't wait until you're financially secure to quit because a lot of jobs especially in the corporate world want to suck all your time and energy dry to discourage you from any "side-hustle" endeavor you may be thinking about doing.

I quit a job after 6 months because I was 1. super checked out 2. would throw up before work every day I was so anxious and 3. was being paid minimum wage to do the work of a team of four people.
I found a new job to hold me over for a while (security at an art museum that's a five minute walk from my house, and pays better), so I can keep my finances up while giving myself the mental clarity to think of what the next move is. I think it's normal also for young folks to move around jobs until they find something that they actually like (I'm 25!)

I literally do not feel safe as the times I have expressed myself I have been gaslighted into believing my feelings are wrong, being told I'm too sensitive and how my parents messed me up. Having worked in many workplaces like this has resulted in me developing social anxiety so going to any workplace now feels intimidating. We all emotional needs however the irony is workplaces(bosses) want you to appear happy and upbeat but yet don't genuinely place value on people's feelings. We are like puppets.

For some, it’s easier to stay on just to keep money coming in for the time being. That’s the position I’m in. Despite being called a “valuable employee, ” my input is constantly ignored, every mistake I make gets documented and exaggerated, I get told that everything I think is all in my head, and I’m told to know my place without any chance for advancement. I know my value, I know my worth, but I don’t think anyone else does.
