An easier way to tell if someone likes you a lot is that they make it a point to be in your life and to know how you're doing. They show genuine concern for your well-being even when it is not warranted or asked for... And then people self sabotage by not being honest about how they truly feel. I think the drive to be "polite" to others or being aggressive to avoid others equally turns people off from wanting to love or help other people and this is very common because one way or the other someone is always giving more to someone than the other and sometimes when you really need someone to care they just aren't there.

It’s okay if your crush doesn’t like you back. You shouldn’t be wrecking your mental health and/or overly obsessing over a person. Just go with the flow and people will come.
