*We use Templar for enemy density during damage phase and proccing biotic enhancements is also easier on Templar*

10:35 “I kinda see why Warlocks are angry”
They took away ‘kills with dawnblade extend the super’ bottom tree skill. Dawnblade is now the only solar roam super you can’t extend (sunspots for hammers, GG hits w/ prec or 6S kills) AND basically gave it to Golden Gun ‘kills with 6 Shooter extend your super duration even further’.
Don’t even get me started on merging Phoenix Dive into a class ability that replaces rift (poorly) with the SAME base cooldown as a rift.

I was super surprised with missile. Like I get it’s a really quick super but still thought it would do way more damage than that.

I've been testing lately and flying backwards seems to tighten everything. Including accuracy and range

Still wish dawn chorus did the same amount of damage it did before 😢. Even if they made it so you could build in it to do ignitions on every hit it would be great. All around, daybreak got nerfed, no super extension, and not nearly as much damage, hurts man….it hurts.

Ngl it was surprising how little damage the warlock supers did compared to the fusion nades. They pretty crazy.

Chaos reach should do more damage especially base damage for how long it takes. Especially with arc 3.0 coming people are gonna want to use other exotics with chaos reach but it’s mandatory to use geo mags with reach

I just don't understand why golden gun does so little damage in general even with radiant. Could be bias though since I use it a ton.

Edit: I will say that I find it mega dumb that blade barrage has the highest damage with only star eaters scale. I like that blade barrage is better, but it's a single press of a button and profit. If you equip that one projectile tracking fragment it's arguably the most free super in the game because of its lower general cooldown and high base damage. Put on star eaters and bam you have a very strong super. I'm dissapointed that Golden gun's base damage in PvE was unchanged but again, I will still run Celestial no matter what.

I've been trying to use dawn chorus and day break again, and to make daybreak at least a bit better, you need to throw a fusion nade or incendiary to make the target close to ignite when the super projectiles hit. Bungie completely screwed bottom tree man.

Celestial nighthawk really needs a buff, it’s kind of lame that the supere/exotic combo that’s iconic like that is weak

Glad to see blade barrage get a decent buff with solar 3.0, Kinda makes sense for tether to be less since its a suppression super (sorta)

The slams from burning maul still do less damage than hammer of sol impacts. Also empowering rifts do not stack with high energy fire, but if you were able to work in font of might with a solar rocket with demolitionist you’d probably see a massive increase in damage for your warlock build. You could even still use either hoard.

Fire-and-forget supers are the way to go. Something like nova bomb might be on the lower end but you can get back to shooting your weapons for more DPS right away.

Minor observation: In a fireteam setting you can always expect the same weaken (either tractor/div, or just void weaken nades), so that would comparatively bring some of the void supers down.

Dang. I haven't touched dawnblade at all since solar before solar 3.0 expecting it to be garbage like always, but the fact it doesn't even properly work with dawn chorus is so insanely sad. Makes me worried about how bad tickle fingers will be too since it already has always sucked (at damage).

The further away you are with your hammers the more damage they do. As they fly you can see it flash and once it flashes 3 times it does max damage (3 sets of 3 explosive embers)

Waiting for warlock offensive supers to ever be good. They screwed dawn chorus and dawnblade so hard :(

Bungie absolutely ruined Dawn Chorus and it's a shame. That was the number one exotic I was looking forward to running on my Warlock with the Solar Subclass rework. I think something they could do that would be cool is if every time you hit a target say a boss it extended the duration of the super a certain amount. Basically take the old bottom tree node a put a little spin on it. Then Dawn Blade could at least possibly be a viable option DPS for Bosses. I've been wanting to post this idea somewhere but not sure where I could post it for Bungie/Community Managers to possibly see this idea.
