I really don’t mean to discredit the work Profane put in here but I can say just judging from the gameplay these numbers are a bit off in some cases. There’s a lot of unoptimal gameplay here. With Nova Warp he was charging the attacks for too long, thus wasting total damage output, with Glacial Quake he was using Shiver Strike after every freeze instead of just spamming R2…

Some of these supers can definitely reach higher numbers in more experienced hands is all I’m saying. Still useful data nonetheless.

I tested winters wrath and it does around 278k at base. With ballidorse it does around 550-600k and this is with no debuffs or shatter damage buffs with fragments etc. So no way in hell is it only doing 219k with star eaters you definitely used it wrong.

Remember yall - total damage and DPS arent the same thing

I am unsure if this was done during your testing, but with the stasis warlock super you should have used Ballidorse Wrathweavers for damage since it increases shatter damage much more. You can also make your super last much longer if right after you shoot the freeze blast you hold down the shatter button. This will only shoot one projectile and save both time and super energy.

Why didn’t you test blade barrage, arc staff, the other arc titan super etc? And why did you test some at base but others you only tested with star eaters? This isn’t a true guide on what the best supers are because you didn’t properly show or test everything.

One of my favourite warlock dps setups used to be witherhoard, then a lasting impression rocket launcher and let rip a chaos reach, always good. Now I guess song of flame is better for a team situation.

roaring flames on solar titan also buffs the super dmg, so it should be 700-800, depending on the fragments it can also trigger more ignitions which also deal more dmg with certain aspects

Pyrogale was only a 10% buff. It was only ever a good super if you could get roaring flames, which wasn't tested.

Nova is king when you consider the overall DPS at least for warlocks

I think your number on Golden Gun + Star Eater is wrong. I’ve tested it a few times just now and I consistently get approximately 478k without radiant and 597k with radiant. The math works out to be around those numbers as well.

In my opinion Golden Gun really needs a buff to its base damage against boss. A 30% would be perfect.

As it stands right now the thing deal 280k at base for 3 headshots and 350k if you’re radiant which is kind pathetic when compared to Nova Bomb doing 472k at base and Twilight Arsenal dealing 547k at base.

Hell the fact that Nighthawk does less damage than nova bomb at base is just sad.

30% buff against bosses would make the super actually decent at base and not restrict you to nighthawk or star eater.

With the buff things would look like this:

3 shot Golden Gun would deal around 360k and 454k with radiant.

Nighthawk would deal 597k and 746k with radiant.


The Base Golden Gun would be able to stand on its own feet and nighthawk wouldn’t be a problem either as it would be sitting in the general area Nova is sitting at.

Guys, as much as you may like profane, the testing done here was wonky and sub-optimal.

If you're wondering, I'd wait for aztecross to come out for a better look.
