Good list. I would have put Fatal Fury Special instead of 2, and I would have added Final Fight 3 (and 2?) to the original.
Plus I would have added Parodius if it was a PAL list.

I don't what it is but....

Look, I really liked the SNES, but aside from the eye popping colours, some of the musical achievements and the controller, I thought it was massively overrated.

For me, much of the art style looked ropey and closer to 8-BIT than 16-BIT.

Despite the colours being more limited and the sound a little tinny in cases, I thought the Genesis games looked and felt more next gen when it came out than the SNES, especially in it's first 3 years.

The only games that really made me think the SNES had moved 16-BIT on a bit, was Star Fox and Donkey Kong Country, but that was about it. There were some other good games of course, but overall, if you take the best of what Genesis had to offer and compare it to the best of what the SNES had to offer and then contextualise those games also against the time of their respective releases, then Genesis wins for me.
