Hey man! BT4 is a fcking blast.. thanks for the tutorial.
Played BT 1-3 with my older brother back then when i was a kid. In the end we got so good in BT3 while fighting eachother that we said proud to ourself: Imagine we could play with other people online or in a IRL tournament.

After so many years i can finally do that but alone this time, my brother passed away 2y ago sadly.
Jumped right in ranked and had the most fun i've ever had in any Dbz game and i hope this community grows even bigger.

One thing to point out between Classic and Standard controls is grab is dash + dash on Classic and block + attack on standard. Having to dash first BEFORE you throw massively telegraphs your throw.

FYI you can on standard also press RB-B / R1/O together for the 'increased' chance of countering. Because I noticed the game seems to prioritize the vanish over the counter stance, and if there is nothing to vanish it goes into counter stance without any extra delay. So even as BT3 vet I play on standard. I think it's superior

I played all the original Budokai games on PS2 over 20 years ago, and then I had a few good hours into both Xenoverse games. I was never a really good player, but I was able to have a lot of fun just going through the saga's or playing the story in Xenoverse.

Sparking Zero is kicking my ass! As Goku, I was unable to get passed Ape Vegeta without lowering the difficulty TWICE. Man, I just really suck at this game. Thanks for this tutorial video, I really need it.

You forgot to mention that you can also dodge beam attacks simply by hitting block right before the beam hits you, better than wasting 2 skill points or blocking, if you can pull it off

Perception does cost ki btw. It slowly drains as you hold the input.

Recovery assist has no downsides, unless you want to just lay on the ground for some reason

The story mode CPU are just gods at the game they absolutely read your inputs man it’s insane. I kinda just need to remind myself that an actual human being won’t be playing this crazy
