... and bought Loctite to fix my temperature control knobs as you stated in your video. Did the job 😀.. Thanks for the new options regarding glue. Have a good day Mike.

Nice experiment. I always use Krazy Glue and I do get mixed results at times, most of the time good results.

With loctite it depends on which you use, liquid or gel. The gel takes longer to dry but give a better bond on solid surfaces than the liquid which works better with softer more porous surfaces. As a pool (billiards) player, I use the gel over the liquid as the leather cue tips have solid compressed backing.

JB weld worked great on my cracked cv boots and any rubber cracks included inner tubes

Heya My Car Guru, Before we go any further and having tried about 4 of those brands I still grab krazy glue when I really want something that works. So I pick Krazy Glue as the best
Thanks for all of your help

I used Loctite gel superglue on a plastic windshield cowl that was cracked. Had to temporarily secure it with duct tape for a couple of hours while I did something else until it set. Don't know about the others.

JB weld although I buy ten little tubes of cheap stuff for a £1 and it's always seemed as good as the rest that I've purchased over the years.
Small tubes, 25 to 35% filled use and if the rest in the tube goes hard I have plenty unopened ones left.
I have only just started putting the opened one in the freezer but not needed it yet so don't know how that will go when I come to use use it.

I have used crazy glue before to glue metal . it initially held great and just fell off over time causing me to doubt its worth for a primary glue Perhaps to hold while epoxy sets or something

Krazy glue... Just because the ads were cool....

I can not believe I guess correct. Should have been at horse track today.
The ads in the 70s were very cool...!!

Those other more expensive glues probably have stuff in them that makes them 'tougher' or flexible but for pure fast action 1 part sticking power it's hard to beat regular CA glue (cyanoacrylate).

Every super glue has a different formulation, some are stronger than others, but that strength also leads to hardness which makes it more brittle. Crazy glue is impressive but also very brittle and doesn't hold up well to shock. Gorilla glue is probably the softest but its good for things that vibrate. My favorite super glue is loctite professional liquid, its strong, a little bit flexible, but best of all it dries clear, unlike a lot of other super glues that crystalize and turn white when they dry.

That was a good one, as I have have very good luck Gorilla I have also had good luck with The Original Super Glue. I think I got two bottles at the Dollar store. Go figure. Next time i will have to try Krazy Glue.

Well i guess i was wrong. But from my past experience with Crazy glue, i was only able to glue my fingers together instead of the item i was gluing. Done several times with small items.

The light blue one ♥
I was close, now I know.
A warning 😂

Surface prep is really important for cyanoacrylic adhesives. You should have cleaned all the surfaces uniformly before testing.

Just great! I just went out and bought the loctite based on your other videos. I've never tried krazyglue come to think of it. I've tried them all and none of them seem to work on anything but my fingers. OK i'll try krazyglue next time.
