I just picked up a 3060 ti locally for 200$ scooped a 3600x for 50$ the same weekend!
Going from a 1700x + 1050 ti was a major performance upgrade for me.

Depends on your intended use. Do you value RT and video production? Get the 3070 (comes with AVX512 support and CUDA). If you just want to game- the 6700XT is the better value option.

Anyone with an AMD cpu should opt for an AMD GPU bc of the Smart Access Memory the latest generation of CPU is offering (from Ryzen 5000 series onwards). So it’s safe to say you will only get a 10 FPS difference or even more depending on specs and optimisation the S.A.M feature is going to get in the future

In philippines, if u buy a brand new rtx 3070 ti it cost around 60, 000PHP below and is equivalent to 1, 100$ which can get u a brand new 3080 ti or even a lightly used 3090 ti in US

Choose the _XFX Merc Black rx6750xt_ mine goes 4 to 5% better than a 3070ti with small undervolt and almost full OC 😎

I have been planning on making a similar build to this. The 5700x is a much more efficient and cool 5800x that's only slightly less powerful. I was thinking of going for the 3060ti because that's actually in the same price range as the 6700xt unlike the 3070. Although the 3060ti is a very good card for the price, recently I've decided the 6700xt is even better.

Should probably mention that if want to get into video editing or streaming the NVIDIA cards offer a lot better solution right now.

The vram alone makes it for me, with the slightly more power being outweigher by a giant bottleneck. Besides, if you are yonna use the money for the 3070ti you should be looking at a 3080 or a 6800 instead

12 GB of VRAM is much more future proof than 8 GB
