Not to forget RTX 3070 power Compsumption is about 40% more than RX 6700 XT just to get 5-10% more performance. I think RX is more power efficient, RTX has 256 bit bus with but RX only 192 bit. Make sense why RTX gets more fps. 👌

im buying a pc for productivity = 2k gaming sometimes with a 2k 27 inch 100hz monitor, i first thought to go with the 6700xt but later i realized that 6700xt has hulf of the cuda cores then a 3070 which is very important in my editing and rendering work, i'm planing to sell this card after 3 years and buy 4070 when the price drope and i'll have a 12 gb vram card in future games, but for 3 years i'm set

I`m still torn between the two gpus, which of the two do you think I should get when they`re at the same price point? I also plan on getting a 6800xt next year so vram longevity isn`t much of a concern.

I bought my 3070 at 360€ (Italy, normally the cheapest here is about 480) and it’s really good, much better than the 4060 I had earlier that I had bought for the same price

Dont forget new amd drivers have increased performance of the rx 6700xt

I got the xfx quick version and it's a beast in terms of size but that made me able to overclock even more and i got better performance than the 3070
