You made me find an additional source of pain outsides of my plantar fascia . You mean to tell me the whole sole has a problem? 😂 Throw the whole foot away.

How if you have bone growth that’s sharp?

I'm a little confused now. Dr. Berg recommends to stretch the opposite way, by holding the arch of your foot with one hand and placing the other hand over the top of the toes and stretching the foot downward. I don't want to make my condition worse, so which would be more effective?

I’m having a lot of pain on the outer side of my heel. Is that planter fasciitis?

Wish it was that easy. I've had it for years. Nothing has worked.

This type of stretching never ever helped, in fact it hurt more & prolonged the time to heal. The opposite has been true for best results for me. I clenched my toes & feet for 20 secs then released, repeating 10 times. Scrunching the toes & flexing my ankles up & down. If you look at the anatomy of the plantar fascia- it has been over extended/over stretched - that has brought on pain. Clenching the feet works the opposite muscles.

Watch Dr bergs video. He explains why doing what this guy is saying is the common protocol but it is actually incorrect. Why would you want to stretch out your plantar fascia more? You want to stretch the opposing muscle which is the muscle on top of your foot. Grab your toes and pull your foot down almost feeling a stretch in your shin. You DO NOT want to stretch the way this guy is saying. Who ever reads my comment, try the stretch I stated for 3 minutes and I PROMISE you will feel relief.
