Salt is not bad for you unless you have a condition already...your blood pressure rises all the time just from working and excercise....sugar on the other hand can cause insulin rise cause weight gain etc...

The most common type of kidney function test can give false markers or indication of kidney problems especially if you lift weights, drink protein powders, use creatine and have greater muscle mass than the average person. It measures gfr filtration which measures levels of creatinine in your blood however those creatinine levels will be much higher in the blood of persons mentioned previously that lifts weights regularly and consumes more protein than someone who does not. A more acurate test to determine kidney function is called a Cystatin C test which will give you more acurate results of kidney function but isnt used as commonly as measuring gfr filtration within many medical practices which is stupid in my opinion.

I have heard that you should not drink 1.5-2 liters of water daily. The reason is that the kidneys are already working overtime to filter out toxins, and excess water is often retained in kidney patients, causing swelling. Secondly, there is something called water intoxication, where consuming a gallon of water a day or even less can flush out too much sodium, leading to seizures. Water is present in juices and many fruits and vegetables such as watermelon, cucumbers, celery, tomatoes, and apples, which should be counted in your daily water intake. Is this information correct?
