Workers are tired of being left behind with wages and benefits while the CEOs keep getting richer. I support the unions.

It's so overdue. Business has thought they could hold workers under their thumbs for so long while making massive profits and feeding the top few greedy SOB's.

Finally the people have woken up to the value of their labour. Corporations and the 1 % have expanded their wealth through the pandemic. No more corporate welfare of taxpayers money. Invest in the People.

This is because company's do not factor in wages or salaries as part of their production costs. Workers are INCIDENTAL costs. This is how companies make such huge profits. BY SCREWING THEIR EMPLOYEES! Thanks Ali for getting Robert Reich on your program.

People are tired of being forced to live for their work with little to no return. What most people want is to work to live not the other way around

maybe if you start rewarding employees who make the money for these corporations with benefits and higher wages instead of giving money to shareholders who do nothing to earn their share you might get employees to show up again...

There is a simple fact that poor people accept as normal. When you struggle, with anything, losing a job, illness, just paying your bills, and then receive a windfall, of any kind, for a little while you are free. Tax refunds are great example. Struggling toward January, so you can finally get new socks, and that guilty pleasure of having something new just for yourself. Companies are finding out now that workers are tired of being happy to get new socks.

American workers have been getting trickled down on for the last 40 years. Time to make it rain.

For decades now, wages have been stagnant and housing costs have been rising faster than inflation. Add those together and wages are effectively shrinking. Profits in many industries have been climbing the whole time as productivity improved, and the people at the top have taken all of the gains while the people who do the actual work are effectively strip-mined for their ability to carry debt.

I'm not going to advocate hurting anyone, but I will say that strikes are the soft option. The hard option looks like France in the last decade of the 18th century.

How do companies expect people to survive when the wages are the same while rent and food go up. Something has to change

I don't like how they're trying to make it sound like it's normal to work yourselves to death and abnormal to go on strike

Companies took money in 2020 ment to support workers, but layed-off workers and found ways to divert the money into their own and investers pockets.

Fellow workers in the U.S you must start fighting to improve your working life. The U.S. is like a third world country when it comes to workers rights. Paid sick leave, basic 40 hours working week and paid holidays must be a minimum you demand. The rich get richer and the general worker gets poorer in the U.S. Please enlighten yourself and vote for the only people who will protect you. Force your employers to move into the 21st century.

The Union's have up lifted millions and millions of Americans, in fact have created the middle class. Some businesses have profited big time from this pandemic namely the entertainment sector's who have streamed movies during lock-downs. These companies must share the wealth with those who have sacrificed to work in all types of conditions because they love the craft, but they must earn a decent wage. My Father was a Union man and without unions his ability to earn a decent wage own a 🏡 and provide food, clothing and education for his family would have been impossible. Support those who must strike. 🕊
