🔑What is the difference between an Overhand-Grip Barbell Row and an Underhand-Grip Barbell Row?
With an Overhand-Grip Row, we typically maintain wider elbow positioning, which aligns the resistance better with your upper back muscles.
While with an Underhand-Grip Barbell Row, you have a more narrow elbow positioning and this aligns the resistance more with your lats.
With the Underhand Grip, your biceps will also be a bit more involved in the movement.
Both variations have their purpose. You can choose which variation to do based on your training goals!
