1.Replace breads with cloud bread, It's simple to make.
2. Avoid all foods that involves any sugars, white flower, nothing breaded.
3. Add fish to you're diet. Tuna, Herring, Cod, etc. Baked or in a can, just pay close attention to sugars.
4. Adding Avacado to you're salads is a source of good fat, and will make the salad you are eating stay with you a little bit longer.
5. Drink nothing else but water and occasionally have some milk. Society is so mislead with the word diet put on everything when most diet drinks are just as bad as smoking is!

I've stayed away from breads, white flower, potatoes, watched sugars, have limited carbs. So far, I have got my sugar under good control taking Ceylon Cinnamon, berberine, milk thistle, tumeric, garlic, magnesium, and a good probiotic. So far, I have lost around 30 lbs in 2 months. I do not get that much exercise being a truck driver either but, feel better than I have in years! I can only imagine how much better things would be if I could go to a gym on a regular basis!
The herbs, and diet, is playing a big role in my recovery without a doubt! Hopefully my 2 cents worth helps someone else with type 2 like it did me and, for God's sake stay away from the metformin if you can!
