Stretching the rotator cuff correctly will help prevent adhesions and scar tissue from forming. Adhesions are like glue and that's what cause pain and limitations, leading to frozen shoulder and adhesive capsulitis.

Thanks so much, Dr. Mandell. Your exercises work every time. I so love your videos. I am so thankful for your quick fixes. I am so much better off because of your videos. Even my chiropractor has not been able to correct issues as you do. Thanks again.

Thank you doctor I had frozen shoulder for 2 years, it was terrible. I am not a exercise lover at all, however I went pool an I did exercise in the water. After a week I felt great and I didn’t have any pain. Pain was like electric shock and went through my right hand and in my head just like a shock.

Hello Motivationaldoc I recently discovered this stretch but instead of pulling the opposite arm, I place the elbow on the corner of a wall. I then gently push backwards which pushes the elbow forward. I find this easier. But (as always), thank you for sharing your knowledge!

Thank you for your educational videos Dr. Mandell. I appreciate them. I was a bus driver for many years and I still have shoulder pain in both shoulders. I am trying this stretch. Is there any other shoulder exercises you recommend?

Hello Dr Mandell. Your all information are valuable and do help millions. I had a high grade rotator cuff tear .I am a senior. It's been now a year .
.Its in my right hand. Recently I am going for physiotherapy. The exercises are ok but the massage leaves me with pain .I could earlier lift my hand up 90 degrees with ease but now the pain restricts me.The other hand has a frozen shoulder
long back.So the exercise depicted by you in this present video I am unable to do.I do lot of yoga.
Any suggestions for me? Hope you'll get back to me!

Thank you Dr. Mandell. I love your videos. They are helpful and educational. I am planning to watch all of them.
The reason I started looking for help was because I’ve been experiencing excruciating pain at night. The pain is so severe that I can’t sleep.
A while back I went to see a Chiropractor for an unrelated problem and he pointed out my lack of mobility in one arm. With palms facing back
I could lift one arm to 90 degrees and the other 45 degrees. When I tried to lift it higher there was pain. He adjusted my arm (a little painful not much) I was able to raise both arms 90 degree. What did he do? Is it advisable to be adjusted by a Chiropractor?
I like this video and I immediately tried to stretch my arms. But I can only reach my elbow on one side. Why is that? My arms are the same length. Thanks again for all the good advices and instructions.

Sir, I like your PT stretches. I have had a shoulder replacement in May of 2016 and a surgery in May of 2017, I have done every thing my PT person has showed me to do and more, My rotator cuff is so tight i can't even do this exercise. I was wondering if there was a to work my way up to this. I have been doing you 13 of the best home shoulder exercise. Thank you.

Dr. Mandell I realize this video was put up in 2016. I'm a 63 year old woman with osteoarthritis in my back. Now I have shoulder impingement in both arms. Do you think it has something to do with the severe osteoarthritis? I'd appreciate your opinion. Thanks.
