About IBS Treatment Center
===========================

Dr. Stephen Wangen, co-founder and Medical Director of the IBS Treatment Center, and his staff have successfully helped over 10,000 people resolve irritable bowel syndrome and chronic digestive problems since 2005.

Some patients have had IBS symptoms so severe that they spent a considerable amount of time in the hospital. Others are suffering alone at home and are no less frustrated with the impact that it is having on their lives. The thread that tied them all together was that they had never seen an IBS expert (much different than a gastroenterologist), a doctor whose only mission is to help people solve IBS.

For over a year and half I have been waking up every morning after sleeping for 6 hours writhing in pain, I have to soak my stomach and kidneys in hot water in a shower for 30 minutes to an hour before I can go back to sleep for the remaining two hours. I always have a swollen head and often get headaches after little to no physical exertion. This all happened after Covid I was a healthy 27 year old and now I can’t work and lost everything

my husband got gastreoparesis but doesnt have the pain associated. He has been getting bigger by the day for no reason. He had to take a second test to be sure. even if just a salad, he will wake up 5 to 7 pounds heavier if he ate it late because it needs over 7 hours to digest. His stomach has ruined his life. he is obese for no reason now.

Ive had gastritis ever since covid, only way to cure it is by following a low food map diet, all my GI wants to do is run different tests and prescribe a new medications everytime sysmptoms come back.

Worst part is that i cant drink anymore or eat fast food, which might be good in the long run, but now I also have to worry about developing ulcers and even stomach cancer. Great.

My esophagus and lungs looked awful in an xray. I had a metalic taste with Covid and it surfaces from time to time. I now have acid reflux which i didn't know what the heck that was. I was so sick with severe Covid I am simply thankful to be alive. JCP on an old phone.

I’m 29 years old, for the last 4months my life has not been the same. I have been having muscle aches, swollen lymph node, GI issues, pain and swelling down the left side of my body. Unable to go back to work, having fatigue and headaches all the time. Been to the doctors many times no one can’t help me with my problems, now they sending me to a long Covid hospital which I waiting for them to contact me . Things are so difficult at the moment

Unfortunately I had covid back in 2021 and then again in 2023. The first time I had it it was so bad that I ended up in the hospital and they thought I was going to be dead. Now I'm alive and had covered for the second time the amount of pain I have is insane. Like I have a rose of gastritis that's what they say but I feel like I have gastroparesis because of how bad the symptoms are what I eat and even though the test came back negative according to them I just feel at a loss. I had a doctor today tell me that she can't really do anything for me and for me to just keep doing what I'm doing which is nothing because I can't eat. When I asked her if she could help me give me protein drinks or something she didn't want to do it. I went to University Hospital in Cleveland and I did all these stupid tests that they wanted me to do all the tests came back was negative according to them. I am tired I can't eat all I can do is drink and nobody understands the frustration and the tiredness and me feeling like I am basically on my last limb I think I am having failure to thrive. I looked at the symptoms and I am in failure to thrive. People think that it happens to children and I'm here to say know it happens to adults too. I feel like no doctor wants to listen or take me seriously and I don't know what to do anymore. I want to be able to do things but I feel like I am I'm not able to do much

I live in the UK, I am fairly certain I caught Covid in February 2020, I experienced a wheeziness for about a year after which has since gone, but I developed IBS/Fodmap Intolerance quickly afterwards. (The year prior I had gut problems which resolved with short term Fodmap diet and I got back to eating normally.) I have had to follow the Fodmap diet ever since and just can't back to normal eating. High Fodmaps give me bad nausea which is the dominant symptom.... taking at least a full week to clear. I am unaware of any treatment etc here, if anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it.... I just can't see a way forward. I take probiotics. I have had a colonoscopy which was clear & had clear bowel screening tests.

i caught covid back in the end of may… the stomach issues didnt occur until about a month after. i didnt have any tests available but i knew i had it cause i had covid rash. since the infection ended, i had bad acid reflux. and i was already on a ppi during it. i stopped taking at the end of june and the acid reflux became bad until my stomach acid returned to normal. now its just random waves of anxiety, panic attacks, throat tightness, hiccups and burps at the back of my throat. and weird feeling ls that im gonna throw up, but never do. idk when this post covid acid reflux will end :( i want to be normal again.

I have been testing and testing and trying to heal for the past 2.5 years.
Nothing helped really. Im now in constant pain.

There arent any long covid clinics in Poland and the doctors are not specialized in it.

I dont believe that i will ever heal from this anymore.
