3 Ways Minerals Impact Hormones and Weight Loss
Показать описание
Minerals are everything, and until you know what’s going on with your mineral status, it’s hard to know what to focus on to feel better on the HORMONE front.
So if you’re struggling with hormonal symptoms and weight gain… despite everything you’ve most likely heard on Instagram…
▶️It’s not your hormones, my friend.
Hormones are NOT a root cause, and they’re actually the last thing to change.
IT’S YOUR MINERALS 🔥
Minerals — Enzymes — Hormones
If you’re experiencing some sort of hormonal imbalance, often times we can backtrack it to your minerals.
1️⃣When minerals get depleted, metabolism and thyroid slow down: In order to make energy, you need minerals. As minerals get depleted (from stress, pregnancy, dieting, too much exercise), our ability to make energy decreases. This is why you might literally feel fatigued on the regular, and less energy means slower metabolism and thyroid function, which often means weight gain.
2️⃣When the thyroid slows down, digestion does as well. This goes hand-in-hand with decreased stomach acid production, which leads to slow transit time in the gut, so you might suffer from bloating, constipation, and other digestion issues. This also puts extra stress on the liver, and when the liver is stressed, our bodies can’t detoxify properly, which further adds to hormonal imbalance.
3️⃣When minerals are depleted, adrenal function slows down and our bodies become less resilient to stress. And when the adrenals become exhausted, our hormones are pushed out of balance to compensate. This can impact hormone production, including thyroid and insulin, and how our bodies use these hormones.
When you focus on the foundations (food first!), everything else (hormones included) have a way of falling into place!
