I’ve noticed my cycles/ hormone levels are most regular when I’m at a healthy weight, staying properly hydrated, exercising, eating a more plant-based diet, low carbs, low caffeine, low sugar, resting at least 6-9 hours nightly, and low stress.

I wish hormone specialist would make more videos concerning mental health issues caused by hormonal issues. Most of these videos I see are centered about helping women get pregnant.

Thank you for explaining this clearly. I have been so frustrated for YEARS trying to figure out what is wrong with me. I have regular (though very heavy) periods but at the same time, have most of the symptoms of a hormonal imbalance including fatigue, hair loss, weight gain, lack of libido, as well as others. I was considering supplementation with testosterone because I have been told I am estrogen dominant. At this point, I am not sure what needs to be done, but this is the first video that explained the fluctuations in estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone.

I am amazed at how clear you explained this and how correct. I had a lot of crazy doctors and some I figure was lazy and that's why they never suggested testing the levels. I had to ask for testing and the response - why? what are you hoping to find out? Dude... anyway this restores my hope that there are some doctors somewhere with some care and in-depth understanding.

I’m currently on Provera to induce a withdrawal period so that I can begin my first round of Clomid and this really helped me truly understand what is happening! Thank you for continuing to use your knowledge in such a positive way, I know that any woman you has you as a patient is so greatful! 🙏 Hoping round 1 of Clomid works for me ✨🤗💗

I had a bit of a PCOS-scare recently because my ovulation test kept coming back positive for more than a week and I read the high levels of LH can be a sign of PCOS. However, a kind midwife explained to me that apparently ovulation tests also detect hCG so they worked like a positive pregnancy test?! I took a real pregnancy test and realized it was true, I'm pregnant apparently. 😅

Peri-land here. I always had lower levels of estrogen. I had my hormones checked in January on day 17 because my cycle arrives any day from day 23-28, my progesterone 11.9, estradiol 20.6 and FSH 23.3 and DHEA was 175 and in March it was checked on day 21; progesterone dropped to 1.4 and day 2 of cycle my estradiol was 360, FSH 2.3 and DHEA 135. My doctor suggested taking DIM, vitex and maca. In the morning, I always have warm lemon water with ACV. I also make a turmeric drink. I eat mainly plants, organic and exercise. Limit plastic. So, I was very surprised when she mentioned dominance. I get my cycle every 28 days since taking vitex in February.

Thank you! There’s so much misinformation out there with predatory “hormone experts” and with endo I’m trying to navigate it all and it’s so hard

I was fine.. I had consistent periods 28 day cycles… I was truly fine.. until I decided to talk to my doctor about birth control and she recommended depo provera.. I truly believe depo provera caused me to develop PCOS.

Gotta chime in and say — you just blew my mind in the explanations. Like I’ve never heard anyone explain this this way and I’ve read/watched/heard so much over 20 years since my diagnosis of Pcos’
