This is the BEST chemistry lesson I've seen. Wish my teacher 20 years ago was like you. Amazing video. Well done.

I took magnesium one night when I had a bad migraine, after I took it my head started to tingle and after it was over my migraine was gone. Very interesting mineral to say the least.

I've been binge watching your videos to refresh my A&P. You're both fantastic at delivering information, and all of your videos are ace. But I think this one put the biggest smile on my face. So many useful topics covered! Damn, the human body is incredible machinery! Thank you!

I was having full body cramps at work while being fully fatigued, its was affecting my work performances as a high rise carpenter. So I remember at the doctors office I was told that I had really low levels of minerals and vitamin in me due to me being a type 1 diabetic. Well finally I went to Walgreens and bought potassium and magnesium Problem solved. No more full body cramps and no longer fatigue after a 10 hour work day

Mg2+ is an important ion which has a house in the city (cells) and one in the suburbs (bone). Its best friend is ATP and its neighbor is K+.

Mg2+ has (2) jobs and (1) side hustle: it work as an assistant to Mr. Muscle Contractor around the clock and moonlights as a bodyguard for Ca2+. To make ends meet, it ubers with its pal ATP when needed

Great video Dr. M&M! Keep it up

Great review of magnesium. I have fibromyalgia and I'm very anemic. Doctors dont explain what supplements do so I'm trying to gather info myself, so I can hopefully get out of 20 years if chronic pain/exhaustion, severe brain fog ( I'm assuming that is caused by 15 years of benzos and ambien [benzo brain]). I also have a huge muscle knot in my trap, chronic cervical pinched nerve and most recently my quads are extremely painful and so weak that I can barely get up off the floor. I am taking 800mg magnesium oxide/day, D3 -10, ooo IU/ day, and 650mg of ferrous sulfate. I'm out of my element with body/supplements. Thank you for making it easy enough for me (other) to understand. 🌻

I've just heard consumers of street drugs usually lose magnesium first. As a former user and still user. I think I'm looking this up to help myself

For anyone reading this and looking to supplement with magnesium. Get magnesium Chloride flakes. This is the most bioavailable form of magnesium you can get just over a pound for little over 10 bucks online. I recommend you add it to your drinking water and supplement that way.

I'll have to watch this video again because it's so full of fascinating insights into worlds I'm unfamiliar with intellectually at any rate, my body knows all about it apparently. Thank you for making it so interesting!
