My home has become my "safe spot" /"safe place". I feel calm and in control there.
I am trying to push myself to go on trains, long walks and to the mall.
I challenge myself step by step and I try not to feel guilty or bad about not being able to function like I once did.
When I am outside, I try to think logically about the situation.
"What could happen now that could not happen inside my home?" "Why would something happen now, when I felt so calm at home". I try to convince myself that it's only in my head and it's my nerves and my brain that try to trick me.
I am not more safe at home even tho my brain likes to think that I am.
I am just as safe outside. I am safe wherever I chose to go because God is with me. And He is with you too.
Whenever you feel like you're not in control - don't forget that God is.
He is always in control. He is the one that keeps you safe when you are sleeping and the one that kept you safe in your mothers womb.
In every situation that you lack control, He is there. He keeps us safe. He keeps the whole world safe and from not burning up from the sun.
You don't need to be in control all the time - you just need to trust God. ❤️

nothing is helping. I'm so anxious. I can't handle anything anymore. i'm in a prermenant state of anxiety, not about anything just everything.

My panic is more related to work. My first panic attack happened after 15 years of working with high confidence. As I was presenting infront of a big group I had a panic attack and lost control of my breath, voice, I was shaking and felt I was fainting. Since then I got stuck with the fear of fear.

I've learned to welcome the anxiety, say hey old friend are you here again. Bring it on.
But there's a lot left to do as soon as I leave my comfort zone, my bedroom...

There are studies that show prolonged stress on the hart due to anxiety can lessen a persons life span up to 10 years. It does matter that i have attack's because it causes me to be unable to do many things. I freeze up and cannot do anything for prolonged periods: 20 to 30 min at a time for physical symptoms and hours for the mental symptoms such as memory loss.

What about cortisol levels constantly being wonky and IBS, etc? Constant anxiety causes them or makes them worse does it not?

Dr. Can traumatic events bring on anxiety ? Mine started after two very scary events I endured ? How do I put those events away so I can think happy and not fearful ?

There are several factors in reducing anxiety at home. One place I discovered that succeeds in merging these is Kevs Control Plan (check it out on google) definately the most helpful guide that I have ever heard of. look at the interesting info .
