I was 8 months free from tachycardia and panic attacks but they came back with a vengeance. Gerd has made my anxiety and palpitations so much worse smh will get there again 💪🙏 Had a panic attack last night due to tachycardia after getting up from being in my car smh hate this. Bunch of test and they cant find anything but all of this feels so real so hyperaware of my heart beat and other symptoms

Once I start feeling tightness of the chest, I sing…. and tell
myself that I am safe…. this helps me a lot.

Thank you. After having a heart attack, I find myself with panic attacks for the first time in my life which is a horrifying experience. It's a very fine line between riding it out and calling 911. I will use these tools and appreciate you sharing them.

I had the worst panic attack of my life yesterday. Legit thought my heart was going to stop. Every time I had a palpitation I thought I was going to pass out. Legit went to the ER. There’s still residual anxiety but I’m just relieved I’m alive.

I'm currently fighting 5-7 a day, full blown and just starting to learn how to fight them. I'm staying full function meaning work the whole nine, no medicine, you can beat them if you know what's happening! My first one 2 weeks ago I called the ambulance got Mri, CAT scan, ekg, they said my heart, brain, lungs, eyes, ears, throat all healthy as can be, I thought I was dieing. When I found out how healthy I was I self diagnosed genetic anxiety and panic attacks! You can fight your way out of them!!! I am 42yrs old BTW and these videos are changing my life everyday for the better, thanks so much!

This video is so so helpful, just managed to talk myself down from a panic attack and this video has pretty much everything I used to go over when I had a therapist so it’s such a good CBT recap! Thank you so much.

thank you for actually saying that once the hyperventilating/rapid breathing starts, the whole “trying to breathe slower and holding it in” is SO HARD and makes my anxiety worse bc it makes me struggle to breathe even more! i’m tired of seeing every video say “take slow deep breaths and hold it in” I CANT 😭😭😩

Every time I have one, I quickly type in "panic attacks" on YouTube and just watching these videos takes my mind elsewhere, until the panic attack passes away. I usually anticipate them 1-2min ahead based on sudden strange feeling I get with growing intensity.
The worst scenario is when I get them during sleep and it wakes me up - in that moment U don't know if U R in the nightmare or U R dying and it takes a while to realise what's going on, unfortunately I am in passenger's seat the whole time and can only wait (about 5-10min).
I observed that following seem to trigger panic attacks in my case:
- Caffeine
- Nicotine
- Stress exposure

i’ve been taking sertraline for two weeks now for depression and i swear it’s making me more anxious. it’s caused me a lot of panic cause it’s something that i know if i stop taking it it probably will just get worse. but the dissociating has been really hard. i’ve been waking up at like 4 am and convincing myself i can’t breathe. this video comforts me though, thank you

Iv had panic disorder for 2 years. First 2 or 3 months i didn't know what was going on and called multiple ambulances, dr, cardiologist, etc and sais everything is normal. But i was still dealing with them and was frustrated that I couldn't find an answer. A good way to get a panic attack off track is to sing or start dancing or both lol. Going crazy and being loud helps me for some reason.

I was in Lockdown for 4 months. I am a teacher and didn't work for a long time. When I went back to work i couldnt concentrate and started to get this spiralling feeling. I couldn't work out what it was and went to several doctors. I didn't think it could be panic attacks because I love teaching and I don't feel threatened or worried by kids. But, sure enough after months away my fear must have grown. My confidence dwindled. I have recently realise that I do get panic attacks now and after calling in sick and pondering the problem I realise I have to deal with it. Calling in sick will just make it worse. Also, I would lose my job, hehe. Thanks for this video. It will help me move on. If anyone else has similar feelings please message me, I like the idea of sharing and helping. I am not asking for subscribers I have none. Just want to make sure people like me have someone to talk to.
