Hey guys! at early signs of eye muscle spasms try to close your eye (the one which is twitching) and put your two fingers on it, make sure that your eye is closed and you can feel the warmth of your finger. Do it for approximately a minute after twitching starts and then you will see the difference.

I have had trichotillomania for 3 years and my eye started twitching today (10.02.18)

Even though it’s only been one day I can already tell you that, my eye has never twitched like this before, it twitches MANY times for a few seconds throughout the day and night when I am awake. At this stage, it’s only my right eye that twitches, never my left eye.

The only difference that I can think of that may have caused the twitching is a couple of days ago, I started using tweezers to pull out eyelashes instead of my fingers which is what I have always used. Except I pull my eyelashes out on BOTH eyes.

I remember when I first got trichotillomania, it started with a tingling feeling in my right eye (the one that is currently twitching but it didn’t twitch when it started, just tingled). My right eye has twitched/pulsed a couple of times in the past but never like this. It’s never my left eye, yet I pull eyelashes out from both eyes.

My right eye also twitches for a few seconds after I sneeze. I sneezed quite a few times too, maybe from an allergy. I get the occasional allergy like symptoms and sneeze a lot but never the eye twitch.

I get muscle twitching in my calves a lot. Sometimes also the sides of my feet. Luckily it doesn't hurt its just annoying especially at bedtime.

The problem isnt the twitching for me, its while im drawing or doing something that do something that requires concentration the iris just for a split second left right and then back where it was
