Yes! Except when you’re still living with family they always disrupt the cleaning and then the motivation flys out the window. 😢

Sometimes I surprise myself of how capable I am of doing stuff when I don’t feel the weight of my own existence weighing me down.

I've been waiting for this to kick in for a few months now. Ugh. I've been so depressed.

can I also say that this audio is EXACTLY how songs work in my head (with adhd). it starts off as one song but literally remixes into something else entirely just because there’s a similar word or beat. my brain is it natural dj lol

I understand this very very well. Cleaning brings me relief.

ALL or NOTHING!!
I'm 78 and have learned to manage myself "a bit". Sometimes I can break through a stall by a baby step and a bribe..."I dont have to clean the entire kitchen...maybe just the microwave, ok just the microwave door, ok just the outside of the door, in one minute...then I can have my iced coffee." God bless all who struggle.

Feel silly commenting as a 30 year old man but I have to thank you for helping me understand myself and for giving me such great visual aids to show people what life is like

Never commented but me and my ADHD need to say this:
THANKS for all your videos and everything.
I am 32 years old and got diagnosed last year.
So a very big part of my life was: what the f are you doing/ thinking
Now knowing why and seeing that a lot of people are just like me helps a lot and makes me laugh about it HELPS A LOT
So I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥️
Keep on doing your great work, it means a lot ☀️

Yes! Goes from barely being able to do basic everyday things to cleaning the entire house (all chores done) and mowing the grass then getting rid of a bunch of stuff and feeling on top of the world. I'm like how am I the same person who can do all that in one day lol. Harness that energy when it comes.

The most annoying is when you have been is paralysis for so long then when you go to sleep or literally can’t get it up because your injured, it’s like you suddenly feel like you need to do everything

When you finally get to clear up the piles of stuff you've been staring at and trying to clean for ages feels so good

YES THANK YOU. The moment the paralysis wears off I have to jump into cleaning and doing anything productive before it comes back

Love it when it wears off and I get what I call my good week or good days!!! Only wish they would last forever

I love when those days happen! They can sometimes be few and far between…& you never know when it’ll hit you but when it does, everything is clean and done! So satisfying

Me last week. My house isn't spotless, but the ordered nature of everything is SO soothing.
