As someone who has severe ADHD (to the point where it was noticeable to my mom at one year old), and has been struggling with it every day for the past 20 years, this video is NOT an ADHD test. ADHD is NOT just getting mesmerized by cool patterns and moving colours, and in fact lots of us don’t.

If you think you might have ADHD, then the YouTube channel How to ADHD is an absolutely amazing resource. Her TedX talk was especially enlightening for me. If you feel that these experiences resonate with you, and hinder your ability to live your life the way you think you should be able to, then maybe seek a diagnosis.

(Also, it’s common for people with undiagnosed ADHD to just think they’re lazy failures because they can’t do things that they think should be easy. Don’t gaslight yourself into thinking you’re a bad person just because you struggle. You’re probably trying harder than most people.)
