Do you have a bad temper? If something upsets you, how to you handle it? Do you regret how you acted when you were angry? Aaron Marino of alpha m. says that not handling situations calmly does more damage that you realize. It only takes a few times before someone finds you a liability because they have to walk on eggshells around you. Don't be that person.

Getting upset happens, but losing control doesn't have to happen. Getting mad is not excuse to hurt people. You don't deserve to be hurt either. If you are around those with bad tempers who can't control it, reevaluating that relationship may be necessary.

Temper Tips to Manage Your Mood

1. What makes you mad? Identify these situations and try to avoid.

2. Identify the feeling when getting intensely upset starts. Stop the escalation. It's all about control.

3. Practice relaxation techniques which allow you time before you react.

4. Think before you speak. Words can hurt deeply and intensely.

5. Get physical exercise for stress reduction.

6. Talk about issues when they arise.

7. Use humor to diffuse intense situations. Don't use sarcasm!

8. Take a timeout from things that are bothering you. Decompress during the timeout to see things more clearly and rationalize.

9. Know when you need help and ask for it. Join a group, speak to a professional, and / or go to therapy.

I know why I'm mad. People won't listen to me. I tell them the problem. They continue to do it. I tell them to stop. They won't. It pisses me off.

I usually look mad, like my resting face looks mad so when people ask why I’m mad it actually gets me mad lol

I've found that when people have anger issues, it is because there are deep seated feelings of frustration, powerlessness, shame or inadequacy. Breathing and relaxation techniques will only get you so far, and it's only when you deal with those deep feelings that anger goes away naturally.

I lately have been realizing how immature I am when I get angry, I get annoyed fast and just blow up but a few days ago I realized my problem, and I've been analyzing why I act like the way I do (you have to except the way you are now and realize its not good, you should want change for your health. This is the most important part! also know you don't need to have instant results, its still a great achievement, that you know its not good and want change) I'm experiencing AMAZING change. Now, when I get bothered or annoyed I just close my eyes breath in, think positively and deal with it calmly, I get a sense of relieve and from the relive I feel great then experience joy, self improvement feels great.
YOU CAN CHANGE.
You just need to start being in the moment, journal about it if you need to. It gives you self confidence, and leads to Amazing things happening in your life, its surprising how much just controlling your out-bursts effect your life!

I missed my old self so much. Always calm and being able to control my emotional. but now, brooo I feel like my head is going explode with rage everyday, and I cant stop myself from saying hurtful stuff to others. I need help😭

I just can’t control my anger.when something happens the anger inside me comes out like a monster. After few mins I just realize that I did something wrong. But when I realize it it’s too late. I have hurt so many. All I need is to control my anger. Hope these tips will work for me. Thank you
