Katz's opens at 8 am. I would suggest doing lunch in reverse with breakfast. There are no long lineups if you go early in the morning.

So many people on a couple other reviews I saw complain about the price but you're right, it's basically a sandwich for two. A great sandwich for 13/14 bucks is not really expensive anymore, especially one with their quality of meat.

If you go to Texas and get Smoked Brisket...the price is per pound its $28 to $30 dollars in all the BBQ restaurants...Katz puts a pound of meat on each difference is you can get how much or little you Texas...It would be better at Katz if you could say half pound...and only pay for half a pound.
