my 51 years as a New Yorker i can honestly say thay Katz's deli is the best of the best bar none! ill be bringing some of my niece's and nephew's from Eastern Long Island in to enjoy some of the best food on earth. God bless you for keeping tradition! 🙏🇺🇸💪❤️

You may think she's overreacting. She's not. A pastrami on rye with pickles on the side is a bucket list item. It was on mine. Literally just checked it off. Amazing place amazing food.

Meanwhile, Schwartz’s in Montreal, equally legendary deli charges $10.75 CAD or $8 USD for their sandwich. Hands down best sandwich i have eaten.

On my only trip to NY on my 1st US journey, a Reubens was on the agenda. Just went to any deli, near the General Post Office. A big, beautiful sandwich, a bag of roasted chestnuts and a cherry spritzer. Heaven. And that was 1991, and can still taste it all
