1. Protein - eat protein first in your meal (then veggies) - important for rebuilding your body (e.g. muscles, hormones, skin, etc.), especially as you age. Two amino acids are Lysine and Prolene support collagen production. Need 0.8 grams/lb of ideal body weight.
2. Fish and fish oil (omega 3 fatty acids (cell membrane, skin, anti-inflammatory, lowers cortisol, elongates telomeres, etc.) - supplement with this, look for absorbable triglicerides form
3. Olive oil (Extra Virgin only - least processed/damaging) - polyphenols contain antioxidants - drink it if you have too, Dr. Gundry recommends have a liter a week
4. Blueberries - super antioxidant powerhouses, neutralize free radicals, anti-inflammatory, protect collagen, reduce cardiovascular disease and diabetes
5. Broccoli - antiaging, anti-inflammatory, antioxidants (broccoli sprouts even better)
6. Green tea - helps collagen, improves insulin sensitivity, supports healthy gut bacteria (which helps skin)
7. Turmeric (curcumin) - potent anti-inflammatory, DNA damage cut in half with just 1/8th tsp a day, must take with fat
8. Coffee - major source of antioxidants, polyphenols protects skin from sun damage, must do coffee before lunch because caffeine stays in blood for at least 12 hours and reduces deep wave/restorative sleep (even if you think you're sleeping fine - you're not - it's a drug so use wisely)
9. Dark Chocolate - at least 85% cacao, organic
10. BONUS - bone broth - can use a bone broth powder concentrated protein in your smoothie to make it easier

A beautiful broccoli salad recipe
Boil broccoli in hot water with himalayan salt just a couple of minutes till the fork goes through the stems,
strain out the broccoli.
Mix with olive oil, salt and chopped garlic.

Hi, I took fish oil for couple years and it made the blood a bit thinner. Do you all have the same problems and experiencing this? Thanks for the info.

Thanks so much.
1) We don't have blueberries in my region. Are there more options?
2) Brocolli is not readily available because it's grown in our northern region and takes long to arrive and there's preservation issues. Still thinking of options.
3) Finally, a teaspoon of coffee keeps me staring at the ceiling without blinking throughout the night🤣. Any option to coffee?

Regarding dark chocolate, most brands (esp. "healthy" ones) contain lead, cadmium and other heavy metals, which is very problematic.

Lindt has a great 99% Chocolate bar. Or add Cocoa Powder to coffee (seems Hershey is this - non GMO - I rarely trust anything in the grocery store and especially from names I know but seems OK to me)

Because 100% cacao chocolate is pretty bitter tasting, I combine it with 1/2 of a sweet potatoe & milkadamia for a smoothie every day. Splendid!

Appreciated, I'd add mental health is where everything germinates with a positive mindset. The challenge is how to be a good human, one can't be good or bad without social life. The topic is very simple if it originates from the roots otherwise anything else is superficial
